The food was average. If it's far from where you're staying, you can find similar restaurants everywhere.
PierrotWe don’t understand this review.. you seemed very happy last week, you could have noticed the waiter that the food was disappointing.

My husband and I were in Paris for two weeks and this is the only restaurant we repeated the whole trip! It was so good. The duck confit was crispy and tender. My husband got the steak special both times and the preparation of the meat was perfection. Even though we were just visiting, the father and son who own the restaurant made us feel like locals, remembering us from out first night and sitting us at the table by the window calling it “our table”. With the amazing service from the staff and mouth watering consistency of the food, I don’t know why they don’t have a Michelin star or recognition. We will be recommending this restaurant to anyone who travels to Paris. When we come back this is top of the list to go back to. Merci Pierrot!

Lacked intimacy, expensive not exceptional I used to go to the restaurant 50 years ago in 1975, not as special now
PierrotMerci, tout d’abord le restaurant n’existait pas il y a 50 ans, par ailleurs les escargots que vous avez mangé viennent de la meilleure maison d’escargots française, le canard est fermier, le carré d’agneau est d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Je vous ai servi avec gentillesse pendant que vous ne me regardiez même pas dans les yeux et ne m’écoutiez pas parler.

Always a perfect 10 here. Best foie gras ever! Perfect menu with great wine selection. Energetic atmosphere yet very intimate. Love this place and the people who work here.

The food and the service was fantastic. The wine options were excellent. The cognac served, after dinner, was the best I've had.

Fine dining. A truly Parisian experience. We had the leeks, duck confit, and profiteroles, and each dish was made and presented brilliantly. Would 10/10 recommend to a friend and will hopefully someday return.

Place is very charming and food is solidly good. However, service was not unpleasant just very rushed.

The food was very good. Everything was really tasty. The prices are just a bit higher than what you would expect for this type of restaurant. And the heating of the restaurant wasn’t warm enough for a cold winter evening.

We've been eating here every December for the last few years - it's a good quality, bistro place with a good food and wine menu, everything well sourced and cooked, and at a good price. Recommend.
