In Portimão, searching for pizza without the wait, we discovered Pinseria La Romana—and what a joyful surprise it was! The moment we stepped in, we were embraced by the irresistible aroma of fresh pinsa, instantly sparking our appetite. The chef greeted us with passion, sharing the story and craft behind their unique process, and recommended a pinsa that, by pure chance, was exactly the one we had our eyes on. Every bite was perfection—fresh, flavorful, and made with such love and skill that it’s impossible not to smile. This is more than a restaurant; it’s a place where comfort food becomes a memorable experience. I even offered a small suggestion for their already exquisite apple and gorgonzola pinsa, only because excellence invites perfection. We left with happy hearts, full stomachs, and a promise to return. To the team—keep raising the bar, because what you’re creating here is truly special.

Hidden Gem. Food was very good - some of the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. Very small establishment so recommend you book in advance. Service was spot on but as it got more busy, we ended up waiting an awful amount of time for the bill however this is only minor. Good Value for money.

10/10Nice cosy restaurant with excellent food and friendly owners The “Chef recommendation” Ravioli with amandle nuts is superb just like the bruschetta, pizza, tiramisu. Happy to go there later this week again!

Food and service was impeccable! Ambience I gave a 3 as we were the only people in the restaurant due to a local socials, definitely 100% a place to visit!
