The service, food, and atmosphere at this restaurant were all excellent, making for a pleasant evening. However, the prices seemed quite high for what was provided. While I valued the quality, the overall value for money wasn't great. Worth a visit if you’re willing to pay a premium, but there are better options for the price.

This was a birthday dinner for my wife and had travelled to Coimbra. We had an amazing culinary experience! A very warm welcome. The food was extraordinary (we had the 'Javali' or wild boar) which was well presented and priced. Would certainly take friends and family back to the restaurant.

The food was not hot, the burger meat was flaky, the ice cream was half melted when it got to the table. Other than that great service, the staff was very nice and the ambient was calm and lovely

This is a great restaurant - the menu had many options and there were several that tempted us. Zeroed in on the Veal Chop - a delight - with grilled potatoes, pineapple, and vegetables. Had a Salade Nicoise to start/share - delicious. Asked Pedro the waiter for a recommendation on wine - he came back with a great bottle of local wine! Pedro was very attentive to our needs. Loved the experience. It would have been great to have more light around the area when we left, but we quickly found our bearings; BTW, easy to park a car there, so driving there is a great option.

A great lunch with first class service. The cataplana was very tasty. It's an interesting destination and in an ideal place for a picturesque walk after the meal.
