10/10This gem of a restaurant is a go-to for when I am looking for an intimate, unique dining experience. The ambiance is one of a kind, sitting withing the exquisitely restored Palácio do Govenador, on top of roman ruins probably from the 1st to the 5th century. The details are all addressed from carefully composed dishes to exquisite service. Thank you for another lovely evening out!

7/10Good food and corteous waiter. Unfortunately the meal was ruined by the fact that the dining room was unbearably hot. The air conditioning was not working properly and no one seemed to care about this before we raised the problem. After we did, someone showed up acting as if he were looking into the situation but the temperature remained almost as high as before. No one bothered to offer any feedback or explanation.

10/10Great lunch buffett! Come early and enjoy the food and the wine. Don't eat too much bread but eat more seafood. Ask for wifi and bring a laptop! After the meal, make sure to use the restroom and take a sit up nap upstairs by the pillows on the couch.

3/10This restaurant follows the same pattern of all the restaurants I have visited in Lisbon. Service in Lisbon is just something very hard to get. First I sent a message to the restaurant when I made the reservation that it was never answered. Maybe they don't care about the app The Fork. Second, we got there and nobody was manning the place, finally a guy shows up and looked at us like wondering why we were there. No greetings, no questions, and no care for our reservation. We were the only ones there, so no excuse for the terrible service provided. One of the reasons I picked this restaurant was the fact the app indicated the staff speak English. Not true as the guy struggled to understand our requests. After reviewing the very limited menu I decided to go with the lamb which of course was not available. To make it short, the food was bland, the service was always absent and very impersonal. The place was cold and empty. I finished my beer before the first plate showed up and the server never care to ask if we wanted something else to drink. I regret picking this place, I will not go back, and I would discourage anyone to visit this place for lunch.

8/10There seems to be a problem in the kitchen. I had dinner at this restaurant last week and the cod was extremely salty. I had to send it back and chose grouper instead, which was fine. Today two people chose bass and it arrived so raw that it was inedible. Staff was very helpful and just re-ordered the same dish. The second time it was adequately cooked. Nevertheless, it is just not acceptable that a restaurant charging €40 per person per meal appears to have no one to supervise the quality of the food..

8/10Good food and courteous service but much room for improvement. It is a pity that someone in the kitchen is ruining delicious food by adding too much salt. I had to send the cod back because it was extremely salty. It would also be nice if someone could tell the junior waiter to serve ladies first.

8/10good meal, but no else eating. The owners need to look outside their doors to see all other restaurants busy at lunch, at some prices people are eating out. A lunch at Euro 5 they are full, at Euro 8 they are mainly full, get to Euro 15 for a lunch and they are still pretty busy. So a Euro 25-35 lunch...... with no one eating, and staff on hand seems pretty obvious what is wrong..... So very very sad to see the restaurant keeping small portions and high prices, seems a real recipe for closure

10/10Honestly we were a little confused ( & worried !). upon arrival as there was no one in the restaurant? However things just got better & BETTER !!! The menu is limited but superbly creative .... we probably tried everything on it ! The staff were WONDERFUL!!! The dessert an amazing surprise... we don’t even want to tell you what it was , just AMAZING !!! We had such a lovely evening & absolutely EVERYTHING was superb... can’t wait to go back !!

3/10Not up to the standards of the hotel. With this App you could book 30‰ off on the set menu or a la carte with no discounts. We choose a la carte to have more options but the menu was a set menu anyway! The water is 5.50 and is served room temperature. Disorganized service with waiting staff talking to each other while serving. We ordered a bottle a champagne and was poured without asking to try the wine (no big deal but not even a standard service was offered). My starter supposed to be "bulgur, beef tomato and cucumber “ but I received a bulgur, tomato, cucumber, feta and watermelon salad with no dressing and tasteless. We were next to the waiter station where clean bottle of water and dirty glasses anc cutlery were all mixed. Main courses average. All in all a disappointing experience and sadly one of the worst meal we had in Portugal.

7/10The service was very good, congratulations! But we were seated on a room without windows as an event was being conducted on the main room, we were not informed of this... The starter was nice, the fish main course a bit dry. Desert was nice but overall nothing outstanding. A lot of bland purees on every dish, you didn't feel nothing fresh. Even on the scalopp starter you got a dry slice of ham and a puree... Although we did have a nice wine that was recomended by the waiter, there were many itens missing. Overall and even with a fork discount, not very good value for money. Can't recomend...

Regarding the food, we were very surprised to read your comments about "a lot of bland purees", since there are plenty of garnish options for our main courses. In other hand, we would like to clarify that the garnish of the mentioned starter is Cupita (not ham), a component from Alentejo, with a dry attributes. Concerning the "itens missing", we kinly ask you to contact us, in order to clarify and specifi all those items. 10/10Excellent, sophisticated food in a quiet, beautiful, pleasant place. It's pricier than other Lisbon restaurants that are not as sophisticated, but all together is very good value for money. Strongly recommended!

10/10This is a stunning location and the food and service are excellent. It was very quiet when we visited but we were made very welcome and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable not only about the food but the history of the magnificent palace in Belém. The sommelier was also most helpful with great knowledge of local wines. We would highly recommend this restaurant .
