The staff at PoTat provided a friendly and indulgent level of service beyond the norm for this area of Lisbon. That factor, together with great tasting food and attractive presentation makes this restaurant our go-to place to dine. It is somewhat hidden from passing trade as it is inside a luxury boutique hotel. It is therefore more quiet than it deserves to be. Highly recommended

The shrimp green curry was very boring. Although cooked well, it was lacking any kind of excitement, no vegetables, and a lack of spice.

Very nice surprise of asian and portyuguese fusion. It blends the heart of portuguese food, with the traditions of asian cuisine. We really enjoyed it. I particularly loved the bulhão pato rissóis and the bacalhau preto.

Good food, restaurant very nice however empty and servings very very small.

Terrible experience. Food: Feijoada Carabineiro (32 euro per portion) smelled of curry, they just placed three orphans-carabiniero over half-cooked and tough beans. Ambient: the place does not match the picture of the restaurant. It was very cold and someone was fixing something while we were eating. Never again!

very nice place. We were the only guests in one of the rooms, and this was excellent. We were very well treated, our choices were applauded by the chef who came to greet us, and the food was very nice. With the Fork discount this is a must try place

This gem of a restaurant is a go-to for when I am looking for an intimate, unique dining experience. The ambiance is one of a kind, sitting withing the exquisitely restored Palácio do Govenador, on top of roman ruins probably from the 1st to the 5th century. The details are all addressed from carefully composed dishes to exquisite service. Thank you for another lovely evening out!

Good food and corteous waiter. Unfortunately the meal was ruined by the fact that the dining room was unbearably hot. The air conditioning was not working properly and no one seemed to care about this before we raised the problem. After we did, someone showed up acting as if he were looking into the situation but the temperature remained almost as high as before. No one bothered to offer any feedback or explanation.

The staff here were incredibly welcoming g and gave us some great information about the history of the building which goes back to the 1st century AD. Food was good and we had a lovely evening.

This restaurant follows the same pattern of all the restaurants I have visited in Lisbon. Service in Lisbon is just something very hard to get. First I sent a message to the restaurant when I made the reservation that it was never answered. Maybe they don't care about the app The Fork. Second, we got there and nobody was manning the place, finally a guy shows up and looked at us like wondering why we were there. No greetings, no questions, and no care for our reservation. We were the only ones there, so no excuse for the terrible service provided. One of the reasons I picked this restaurant was the fact the app indicated the staff speak English. Not true as the guy struggled to understand our requests. After reviewing the very limited menu I decided to go with the lamb which of course was not available. To make it short, the food was bland, the service was always absent and very impersonal. The place was cold and empty. I finished my beer before the first plate showed up and the server never care to ask if we wanted something else to drink. I regret picking this place, I will not go back, and I would discourage anyone to visit this place for lunch.

Amazing dinner and warm atmosphere

There seems to be a problem in the kitchen. I had dinner at this restaurant last week and the cod was extremely salty. I had to send it back and chose grouper instead, which was fine. Today two people chose bass and it arrived so raw that it was inedible. Staff was very helpful and just re-ordered the same dish. The second time it was adequately cooked. Nevertheless, it is just not acceptable that a restaurant charging €40 per person per meal appears to have no one to supervise the quality of the food..

Good food and courteous service but much room for improvement. It is a pity that someone in the kitchen is ruining delicious food by adding too much salt. I had to send the cod back because it was extremely salty. It would also be nice if someone could tell the junior waiter to serve ladies first.

good meal, but no else eating. The owners need to look outside their doors to see all other restaurants busy at lunch, at some prices people are eating out. A lunch at Euro 5 they are full, at Euro 8 they are mainly full, get to Euro 15 for a lunch and they are still pretty busy. So a Euro 25-35 lunch...... with no one eating, and staff on hand seems pretty obvious what is wrong..... So very very sad to see the restaurant keeping small portions and high prices, seems a real recipe for closure

The place is really nice, the atmosphere is relaxing, the service was on point and the food was well thought. I'd love to try the spa for one day too!

Honestly we were a little confused ( & worried !). upon arrival as there was no one in the restaurant? However things just got better & BETTER !!! The menu is limited but superbly creative .... we probably tried everything on it ! The staff were WONDERFUL!!! The dessert an amazing surprise... we don’t even want to tell you what it was , just AMAZING !!! We had such a lovely evening & absolutely EVERYTHING was superb... can’t wait to go back !!

The service was very good, congratulations! But we were seated on a room without windows as an event was being conducted on the main room, we were not informed of this... The starter was nice, the fish main course a bit dry. Desert was nice but overall nothing outstanding. A lot of bland purees on every dish, you didn't feel nothing fresh. Even on the scalopp starter you got a dry slice of ham and a puree... Although we did have a nice wine that was recomended by the waiter, there were many itens missing. Overall and even with a fork discount, not very good value for money. Can't recomend...

Regarding the food, we were very surprised to read your comments about "a lot of bland purees", since there are plenty of garnish options for our main courses. In other hand, we would like to clarify that the garnish of the mentioned starter is Cupita (not ham), a component from Alentejo, with a dry attributes. Concerning the "itens missing", we kinly ask you to contact us, in order to clarify and specifi all those items. Last but not the least, we sincerely hope you may consider coming back, in the future, and give us a chance to show you our tru nature. Best regards.

Excellent, sophisticated food in a quiet, beautiful, pleasant place. It's pricier than other Lisbon restaurants that are not as sophisticated, but all together is very good value for money. Strongly recommended!
