Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We ate here 3 times last week, it was wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere and excellent value. Highly recommend.

The food was mediocre and the service was worse. We tried to walk into a half full restaurant at best and were blocked in the entryway by a waiter who asked if we had a reservation. (Which we did not because there were a ton of times available when we looks an hour earlier) When we said no he claimed they were completely full. So we walked five steps outside and booked a table on The Fork for 4 minutes later. Which was the best part because it gave us a 30% discount. Upon walking back in with a reservation, we were greeted by a different waitress who sat us without asking if we had a reservation. I was very excited to get the Swedish meatballs after my wife had them for lunch at Tradition (completely recommend). They were not good. My son compared them to eating an in-n-out burger. The rest of the food was just ok. We were charged for tap water! And found it difficult to get service to refill or buy more drinks. In short, there are too many good restaurants here to go to Polpete.

Nice food cooked well. Decent prices Tuesday night was told car machine was not working and needed cash. It's a cashless city and we didnt have any. Once we told them this they said its ok the machine might work. During eating 5 other sets of people left due to not having any cash. We ate and paid by card payment. The only people to pay by card.. strange

The location is nice, the problem was the food. the carbonara was hard to eat; it had a thick thick tasteless layer of oil on the pasta,there was no egg yolk or barely noticeable egg yolk it had no taste whatsoever. The bolognese pasta was also tasteless and hard to eat because it wasn’t just not good it was bad, overall not a good experience although the pizzas and salmon weren’t bad it was nothing to do with the price range

A last minute reservation. We ate mushroom soup - very salty!!!! Then, the traditional dish of meatballs with mashed potatoes, was not spectacular, but it did not disappoint. Average service

Polpette is one of the best Italian restaurant in Stockholm! Whatever you choose from the menu, you will be satisfied for sure! The service and atmosphere are also amazing

The portions are really small. Had the smallest portion of plankstek I ever had in Stockholm. We asked for some vegetables on the side and were charged 125 kronors extra each as regular salad. Aside from our drinks, we were also charged 15 kronors each for tap water. Tourist trap

Restaurant is in a really good location, near to Gamla Stan. Everything was on great level and i can recommend it. Please note that if you want to have pieces of pizza you need to tell it to waiter by oredering. If you won’t do it, you will get pizza with no cuts :)

We were welcomed warmly by the staff members and the food is excellent. The fork discount was applied to the costs which made it even more attractive. The portions are largely enough and the hosts check on their clients regularly to make sure plates are taken away. The one thing that stands out is that among all the restaurants I have eaten at, this is the first place where your napkins and cutlery is changed after having a starter. Great experience! People visiting Stockholm should definitely try it for its food, romantic ambiance and service.

The restaurant was largely disappointing, firstly due to the service, or lack thereof. Entrees (chark and buratta) were okay, but the buratta was very boring and plain, just a buratta and some leaf salad, tomatoes too. Laxplanka was not according to the menu, and it was quite plain. The risotto, also, was very plain but and featured very large pieces of mushroom. It was not entirely to my liking. Lastly, we forgot to inquire about the thefork deal of 30%, and we ended up paying the full sum, only to realize the day after.
