6.5/10Lovely traditional Portuguese restaurant with a friendly service. Unfortunately the noise was terrible as there was a group of people that spoke very loudly for the two hours we were there. Also the quality of the steak platter was not good. The meat was in general very fatty, chewy and stiff to eat. The starters of garlic prawns and the mushrooms were nice.

8/10A very busy Saturday night for our first visit with friends who had been many times before. Unfortunately the steak variety was not available and nor was dessert choice. Service was attentive given the busy state of the restaurant. Reasonable value for money though as main course was a good portion size. Couvert a little on the small side for 5 people which meant we ordered a second one. Authentic Portuguese family run restaurant with good rustic touches.

Very good place with friendly staff, good home made food with choice of local specialities, and home made desserts good service. A nice stop to enjoy the food and visit city of Silves just cross the bridge and take a walk to discover the nice old city of Silves. I recommend this place

Nice place and suroundings. Excellent and fresh food. Very friendly staff. A lot of wines at affordable price and most of them can be ordered at the glass instead of the whole bottle.

7/10Nice resturant but service a bit slow and uninformative we decided to opt for set menu rather than fork discount on main menu. We ordered mains and drinks but no soup or covert came before main as expected the waiter said we should of orderd them but as it was a set we presumed that they were orderd, but after the main we orderd deserts and coffee and not charged extra for dessert. Very good price for set of day covert,soup,main dish about 5 choices wine and coffee 8euro but you must tell waiter everything you want. We sat in courtyard as we had a dog so did not sit in main restaurant which seemed very busy.
