It’s always good to be back to Porgi! The whole crew is great and always makes our dinners a memorable experience. This time we went for the dish of the day and it was delicious!

The food was absolutely amazing! We had a starter with porcini mushrooms that was to die for. The white ragu pasta, and the duck were both excellent. The mascarpone and rum dessert was a perfect sweet ending, although you need to be prepared for the size of it! Also the staff was very professional and caring. We had a very nice evening. The only reason I put a 4.5 stars for ambience is because the overhead lighting is very white, but that is a matter of taste.

This was our first night in Volterra, with over a hundred of us travelling to Tuscany for a wedding at Palazzo dei Priori and Villa Le Capanne. We chose Porgi l'altra pancia for our first taste of Tuscan cuisine and hospitality, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The food was outstanding (I particularly enjoyed my Ravioli dish), and we felt very welcomed by your excellent staff - the explanation of the seven rules of socialising was a great moment! I'll post a positive review on TripAdvisor, Google and Facebook too. Grazie mille!

We ate at Porgi l'altra pancakes twice. They were open earlier than most restaurants, I think around 6pm. The service was fast and friendly. The food was hot and.fresh. I think I had the grilled chicken and roasted potatoes one night. The were both crispy on the outside and moist tender on the inside The next night I think I had the grilled sausages. Again, cooked perfectly. The place is small inside so I would make reservations. We went in April so it was not that crowes yet. Prices were very reasonable Would highly recommend.

We made a reservation not really knowing what to expect. The staff was very kind from beginning to end and gave really good explenation about the different choices on the menu. We had different plates of food and they all tasted really good! Real Italian food with a real nice athmosphere in the lovely town of Volterra!

Very high level of meat based local cuisine and big choice of wine. Very polite and nice staff! Located just in the heart of the city. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic wine selection accompanied by wonderful food. Had the Cinghale Volterra style which was perfect and the pork which was incredibly tender.

Very nice little restaurant in the old city of Volterra with delicious local food and a huge selection of wines from almost everywhere in Italy. Highly recommended!

Really recommended! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The chefs in the kitchen know what good cooking is. For children it is also a nice restaurant. If we get the chance we would love to eat here again.

Great service and great food. We had a nice table in the back. Lots of good dishes to choose from and wonderful wines. The duck was perfectly cooked. We had steak tartar for an appetizer and it was wonderful. Definitely a great choice!
