Used to be a family favorite but the food was disappointing. Very small portions for the local standards and lacks atmosphere. We won’t be back!

Service was exemplary. Food was exquisitely presented but our pasta dishes as part of the tasting menu were both spaghetti. odd. this restaurant seems to have alienated people which is a shame as the chef is accomplished and the staff were excellent. we left a large tip hoping they would get it.

Porto Marina da Salvo was exceptional. Every dish was presented with creativity and care. The old building is a wonderful room for an outstanding meal. And the local wines were excellent. It was the perfect place to celebrate our time in Sicily.

The food and service and atmosphere were exceptional. I had the stuffed squid as a starter and a mushroom linguine with mussels and cod as my main tiramisu for desert. Each dish was exquisite. Such attention to detail. I shared at our table this was one of the best Italian meals in 5 years. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious and elegant, suffused with layers of subtle flavors, all presented beautifully. The kitchen was accommodating in splitting dishes in the kitchen that my husband and I wished to share. The server was calm, very present and attentive. This was the best meal we’ve had after 10 days in Italy!

We initially tried this restaurant last year and just had to return. The food is absolutely beautiful and the wines are fabulous. This was another unforgettable experience. Every course was perfectly balanced and prepared with such care and precision. The stand out dishes included the egg with Comte and truffle, the lamb cutlets, the prawn risotto and to finish, the tiramisu which was heavenly -if you enjoy beautiful food and ambiance this place is essential to visit.

The best seafood cooking that I have experienced in a long time. We had the chef’s selection (you don’t know what you will be eating until it arrives), which includes 3 appetizer courses, 1 primi and one dessert, for 60 euros. Outstanding value, and just one of the options on the menu. Best meal of our week in Sicily.

Amazing experience. We had menù degustazione with fish and seafood, created on the spot by the Chef. It was awesome, every dish was unique and delicious with super quality raw materials. The staff was very professional and kind with us, great quality servire. The bill was adequate to what we ate.

The restaurant looked nice set on an historical building. Service was bad. Asked for wine menu and told us to wait for 5 minutes while a pile of wine menus were literally piling on table right next to us. Not recommendations, or explanation about dishes (like for example that main dishes do not come with any side food). The receptionist s dog was barking at every single one coming into the restaurant, which killed the nice, relaxing fine dining atmosphere you expect from a place like this. Good food and outstanding wine selection, ruin by a very bad staff management

+1We had the Templi tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. Large portions, an excellent taste . My husband had birthday and they put a candle in his dessert. It made our evening special. Grazie mille!

The food was very nice. We had grilled fish for main and gin/basil oyster for starter. Both dishes were excellent. However, what appeared to be the owners (a lady sitting at a desk just inside the door) created a very stiff atmosphere and not very welcoming when we arrived. The space itself was beautiful but the people (not the waiters) could have done a better job in creating a welcoming and warmer ambiance.

We had the tasting menu of 3 antipasti and 1 pasta course. Each course was fresh seafood beautifully prepared. Great house made, creamier than sweet ice cream for desert. Simple but so much more delicious than 95%+ of fancy deserts

I am sure it is difficult staffing restaurants post-Covid. And our front of house staff were diligent, polite and never put a foot wrong. But to have to wait 35 mins sipping water before our order was taken and to wait a full hour before our first food arrived was never going to make us like this place. And the food? Perfectly fine. But with the sense that the same food had been served day in day out for years without much thought. The menu said that one of their starters had won a prize in 2006. Well that sums it up!

Food fantastic. Tasted delicious. Presented beautifully. Waiter service very good - food explained. Went for wedding anniversary special meal so are the full degustation menu. 7 excellent courses, nicely balanced. Very good value at €60 per head. Highly recommended - Michelin as it should be.

The best meal I had in Siracusa. Fresh produce made with skill and attention to produce food of excellent quality and layers of flavours working subtly with one another. Lovely Marina and her team looked after us beautifully and wine choice suggested was excellent as well. The restaurant is tucked away from the crowd and definitely worth a trip to experience the quality food.

Simple but high quality food. All dishes were perfect, Caponata was outstanding. Attentive service. Interesting setting in the old cave-like building.

Arrrogant service and average food. Too few waiters and small portions. This is not to be expected for a EUR 300+ serving. Not at all worth the money.

Superb food. This was one of the restaurants that are in the Michelin guide and it was a great recommendation. We had the Burata cream with prawns to start, probably the best starter I had all holiday. Followed by seafood ravioli with sea urchin sauce which was simply delicious, and then we both had fillet steak, one with brandy sauce, one with green peppercorn sauce. Both brilliant. The front of house recommended our wine, great choice. We had G and T and Prosecco to start, bottle of wine, the digestifs after. In all a great meal, very well worth €160. Super find, support them if you can, it’s difficult times indeed for restaurant.
