6/10The restaurant was severely understaffed. It has the potential to be really nice. The white staff was severely overtaxed by too many patrons and not enough staff. The food was good. I asked for some lemon to use on my fish and waited about 15 minutes to get it asking two different people by the time it came by food was cold .

10/10Great location, ambience, food and service. Particularly enjoyed the lamb with artichokes. Pasta great too with very generous portions. Excellent wine list specialising in Sicilian wine.

10/10We were seated right next to the fountain with a great view of the pedestrian traffic. Service was incredible. Our meals were very good. When ordering, our waiter explained what substitutions were in the dishes due to market availability. This was a nice touch to insure we would enjoy what we ordered.

Absolutely fantastic setting, we had reserved a table through TheFork and were given the best outside table, right next to the fountain, a bit further from the beautiful square. Would highly recommend and go back anytime! Service was great, food was delicious, very memorable family dinner!

6.5/10The antipasto – street food – was dry as sawdust. The swordfish was tasty, but you had to season it yourself because it was served rather bland. We waited 10 minutes for the menus to be brought, and in the end we had to ask for them. I don’t know, maybe I’m invisible.

10/10As someone who has grown up with authentic, excellent Italian food, I am extremely discerning; and I have to say, this was absolutely one of the best meals of my life. The cacio and *pere* (pear!) was an exciting twist on the ubiquitous cacio & pepe, combining the savory with the sweet. Note: there is a whole page of a Green Menu offering wonderful vegan and vegetarian options. The service and the atmosphere of Piazza Garibaldi complete a perfect evening for a couple, a family, a group of freinds, or even a solo traveler.

The first and the second course was delicious but the desserts had some little problems, the service was fast and good only problem was the irons.the waiter put new spoons on it when its visibly dirty, but they changed it immediately after we complained about it.i will give it a honest 8/10 prices are fair if its your first time in cefalu you should visit and taste the octopus

10/10What an exceptional meal at a lovely location. The service was outstanding. The server pick an excellent local Pinot noir for dinner. We had the parmgiana as an antipasto, the tortellini and the fish of day and lamb The flavors were phenomenal. The tortellini was in a heavy white sauce that was superb. The servers were very attentive.

10/10Excellent and comfortable terrace. The first staff member was extremely knowledgeable on Sicilian wines and a terrific discussion ensued on wine selection. The three apps we shared to start our meal were beautifully presented and were super fresh…fish and seafood. Excellent pasta followed and the dessert. Many thanks for a wonderful evening. Highly recommended.

Porto Terra: A Culinary Jewel in Cefalù During our six-week Italian journey, Porto Terra in Cefalù stood out as a true gem. Drawn in by its charming terrace, we decided to have lunch here—and were so impressed that we returned for dinner the same day. Our lunch began with the Busiata alla Italiana, a traditional twisted pasta that was perfectly al dente, bathed in a rich, tangy tomato sauce with capers and olives. It was nothing short of heavenly, capturing the essence of Sicilian cuisine. The filet mignon was, without a doubt, the best steak I’ve had in Italy. Tender and perfectly seared, it was complemented by a subtle Marsala wine reduction that elevated the dish. The rack of lamb was equally exceptional—succulent, with a fragrant rosemary and garlic infusion that made each bite unforgettable. Returning for dinner, we found the evening atmosphere just as enchanting, with the restaurant’s terrace offering a perfect backdrop to a meal that was both refined and comforting.

10/10The table are disposed in very charmong square around a water fountain. The service is really friendly and nice. The food is amazing. We had the octopus Caponata, the Swordfish Caprese and the Lamb Ribs. All of them really good.

6.5/10Pretty restaurant outdoors on the square. Waiter who served us oil and explained the menu was great but the other waiter was surly. Did not come to check food was ok or to take a drink order. Food order took over 20 minutes to take. When the food arrived the pasta was covered in dried onion which was totally overpowering.

9/10Service was friendly and efficient and the location and layout in a pedestrian area is a delight. The local white wine, selected, using our waiter's knowledge, was very good. We only had a small meal of 2 courses for two people. The food was good overall- the swordfish steak in bread crumbs was generous and very tender, while the prawn spaghetti was well flavoured with fresh lemon. The two desserts we had promised much in the way of layered flavour, but these were not very distinct when eaten. All in all the night provided a pleasant dining experience and was reasonably priced.

10/10Excellent restaurant located on a quieter and atmospheric square! The food was delicious: refined, locally based and with original ingredients. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The waiters gave good suggestions and could tell us a lot about their extended wine list, which includes lots of options per glass too. One waiter forgot to bring us a glass of wine we ordered because the terrace was full, but they offered their apologies and a glass on the house. We didn't mind and came back the next day to try some more delicious dishes!
