The quality and variety of food, together with the level of service, made it one of our two favorite restaurants in Turin.

A friend from Turin recommended Porto di Savona to me. At first, I was sceptical because the outdoor tables are right by the street, but the food and the service turned out to be excellent. I recommend it!

Loved the food, Vitello Tonnato and Agnolotti. Great wine at a superb price. The service was top notch, and the ambience welcoming. I wish the cashier lady had been more friendly, though - no smile, no arrivederci....

Tremendous local atmosphere of a classic restaurant which has had loyal clients for years. Clearly an institution .

The restaurant reminded us to those we visited often about 30 year ago. Very traditional, in athmosphere but also related to what is served. The dishes were all very tasty (many of them include cheese in one or the other format, related to the traditional piemontese cusine), the portions good, and the serving well organized. we had some flan gorgonzola (excellent), carne cruda, tajarin (with cheesy sauce) and malfattati pasta with meat sauce. as desert we enjoyed bunet and tirami su, followed by a very good coffee. as this was saturday evening, the restaurant was full, with a lot of groups and families..., the room is limited, so the noise level was raising very quickly. overall a good experience we can recommend to people looking for piemontese traditional food.

The food was exceptional and the location eating outdoors in the beautiful piazza Vittorio Veneto was unmatched! We couldn’t have planned a more perfect lunch on a gorgeous Spring day if we’d tried. Porto di Savona did not let us down but rather gave us the dining experience we had hoped for. Excellent job! Thanks so much!

Very good, typical food. Nice and well performing staff. We enjoyed evening very much. Quite a lot tables in the rooms that left not too much space, but it was absolutely worth it.

This is definitely worth visiting as the second most important attraction of Torino, second only to the Egyptian Museum. The food is outstanding of very high quality and a great representation of Torino and Piemonte. The staff, all, are outstanding and very passionate and knowledgable. They recommend great options and wines to go with the food in the most humble and unassuming fashion. It is full at lunch and dinner everyday so it is imperative to book in advance and in a 3 day visit I would recommend both a dinner and lunch at this restaurant. A visit to Torino would now be incomplete without dining here and it is definitely a reason to return.

Nice specific Piedmontese pasta very authentic and really felt homemade. Definitely a nice choice if you want to eat like a local in Turin. It can be pretty full but the reservation mechanism is on point and I would recommend you secure your spot before arrival. Very nice service overall.

There was a hair in my food and instead of making some apologies they made me even pay the coperta 3 a person

Good food and service but basic ambient. Especially the funghi flan was very delicious.

Brought my wife and my Suocera for a nice lunch at Porto Di Savona. Their monopiatti were a perfect lunch choice after yesterday’s somewhat abundant Sunday repast. The monopiatti have the meal on one plate, and come with some nice wine or water and even dessert and caffè. All three plates (trout, gnocchi al Gorgonzola and agnolotti al sugo di arrosto) were delicious. As nice as home-cooked meals are, it’s good to get out every so often.

The restaurant is on a square with a very good view on the hill and lights up beautifully at night. This recommendation was from the host of the apartment. Food was fine. Service was a little underwhelming compared to all other restaurants i’ve been to on this trip.

Food terrible - over cooked pasta, “frito misto” with deep fried sausage and apple (?!) odd vegetables, tourist trap!

Excellent food and wait staff. It was outside in July so even in the evening is was incredibly hot and humid. A bit noisy, but this is a great restaurant and not to be missed.

As before, we enjoyed Porto Di Savona, and the opportunity to eat good Piedmontese food in the heart of Piedmont. This is a place that you must share with friends, and sit outside and enjoy the views, and the people. The food is good, and the service, although you do have to be patient as there are many tables covered by the same host. However, it is worth the little wait, as who could be in a hurry in such a relaxed setting.

Great old local restaurant that serves all the Italian classics

We were seated at an outdoor table in the magnificent square on a dry evening in Turin. Naturally, we ordered Vitello Tonnato, the Piedmontese speciality. It was a bit disappointing, as the sauce was relatively bland and could have done with more tuna and anchovies. The pork Cotoletta Milanese was good and the Vitello Robespierre adequate.

Delicious classic Italian dishes. Old world charm.

We very much enjoyed the restaurant. We don't speak Italian but did our best and they were warm and kind about it. The food was traditional and excellent.

Very rustic /traditional restaurant with historical photos of Turin on the walls. Gnocchi with Gorgonzola were light and delicious. Had a good bottle of Barolo recommended by the waitress. Great service. The only recommendation I would have is to add a dimmer switch to the central light in the main room to improve the ambiance. It is very stark and bright especially for the tables under it. Thanks for a delicious meal.

A great place to come and enjoy typical Piedmontese food with a cozy ambience and friendly staff. I tried the Menù Gran Torino and every single dish was amazing.
