6/10Nice and charming restaurant, right on the port of Ischia. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. Unfortunately the service was rather poor, we could feel the end of the season tiredness among the serving staff which is fair in one way but not really pleasant for guests.

10/10It was the first time and it was perfect! Lobster linguine was delicious, also fresh fish and a very good vine. Staff was also very welcoming, helpful and professional. Loved it !

4.5/10Went along with high expectations and looking forward to a quality meal, sadly we were disappointed with just about everything and the evening took a bad turn when they realised we’d booked via a Fork offer of 33% off. All of a sudden certain things we’d been offered from the ala’carte menu weren’t available (we were offered turbot which when we ordered was told it was unavailable only to see another table be recommended it 10 min later!) when the bill came we’d been over charged for alcoholic drinks which we didn’t order or receive and told the deserts were not eligible for discount?! Very embarrassing and not wanting to cause a scene and ruin our day we paid up and moved on. We believe we were overcharged circa €20! Overall the food we were served was very average and not good value even on the promo price and sadly was the worst experience we’ve had during our stay in Ischia. It has also put us off using the FORK Ap to book restaurants in the future despite previous good experiences

6.5/10Being considered a fish and seafood restaurant, in my opinion it's either hyper or we had bad luck. I expected some quality. I've eaten octopus on many occasions but this time it felt overcooked and lacking taste and texture. I also had a pistachio coated Tuna steak that was again slightly overcooked and served on iceberg lettuce (why?). My partner was more lucky with his seafood pasta, which was really delicious. Given the end of season they were probably understaffed; we've been waiting for very long times whilst other parties that arrived after us were already served food. had to check the bill twice and the waiter was nice to correct our bottle price and apply the discount after pointing it out. glad we had the Fork discount, otherwise it'd have felt way too expensive compared to what we got.

10/10Great welcome by Gabrielle and his team. I booked on line via The Fork the night before our reservation and the whole process was quick and easy. The menu gave a great choice and each of our party of four really enjoyed their chosen dishes. Combined with the 20% discount the whole experience was fabulous. Coming from a background in hospitality I can really say that Gabrielle and his team really excel and I really recommend this restaurant. Thank you.

10/10Excellent and friendly service, excellent wines and wine knowledge. The beautiful location on the harbour and the excellent food made this place our favourite, definitely worth recommending. The pasta and seafood are excellent and when you get a good wine to go with it, it's worth enjoying.

10/10Gabriel and his staff were some of the friendliest and most hospitable people you could ever meet. My party and I trusted them with any suggestions and we did not go wrong with any of those dishes/wine pairings. I will be recommending this place to anyone I know who will be visiting Ischia. I hope to return soon.

10/10This restaurant has a lovely ambience. The colourful tablecloths and plates are uplifting, and to me, it doesn't matter that the crockery is chipped as it adds to the charm. The staff are welcoming and not pushy like the others along the port. As a result, this restaurant receives more customers than the rest, probably because people feel they can look at the menu in peace rather than under pressure. Food portion size is excellent. For me, with my spoilt British palate, the pasta was a little bland, but I find this to be the case everywhere in Italy. At least there was plenty of choice for a vegetarian, which is often lacking in a 'seafood' area. After finishing our meal, we stayed to have more drinks rather than go elsewhere because the location and atmosphere was so good. This restaurant would still be our preferred option if dining at the port.

6/10Nice restaurant inside. After being seated I asked a waiter for a bottle of the house Portobello red wine. He told us which one of three house wines was the red and left. A few mins later the head waiter came over and asked about wine to which I replied that I had already ordered a bottle of the house red. He told me that the first waiter was mistaken and they didn't have a house red (very doubtful with three different wines listed)_ so, I couldn't have ordered it and anyway the first waiter I spoke to had only started the day before. The head waiter came across as very condescending and we did not feel at ease. The starters appeared within 5 minutes of ordering with the main course about 10 minutes later so all very rushed. We had a 30% discount via our Fork booking which we suspected would not appear on the first bill - it didn't and had to be asked for. Table of 4 Americans on the next table also had to send their bill back to get the discount applied so I suspect they ''try it on'' every time to try and avoid giving the discount. The whole meal took 45 minutes and we were happy to leave. Our only bad experience in Ischia which is a wonderful island with great food and super hospitality from the locals. Avoid this tourist trap

Hello Mr. Keith, we are mortified that you have not found our restaurant with your full approval. Unfortunately it's true the Burmese guy with whom he spoke for wine was on his second day, still on trial! He knows nothing about Italian wines, let alone our wine list. As I showed you, red wines are written in red with a star before the name. As for the speed of service, it is due to the kitchen's processing of orders, they calculate a time of around 10/15 minutes between one course and another. As for the discount not being applied immediately, I don't think it's any problem, just ask and remind us everything! Also because we have many customers who book without wanting a discount! In any case, if you decide to stop by our restaurant again, we will be happy to have you as our guest. Best regards Gabriele Balestriere Director Manager.

5/10We both felt staff a bit pushy, Italians diners seem to be served before us and we had to remind him about Fork discount and wasn't happy about this. My husband's spaghetti vongole alright, not the best he had, but my lobster linguine was lovely. Over all okay.
