10/10I’ve been to Prins & Aap many times. I first discovered it when I was looking for a place where I could finish some work. Somewhere quiet enough to focus, but still able to serve good food. It turned out to be exactly that, and more. The food is genuinely good. I’ve tried four or five of their salads, and they never disappoint. The Caesar is solid, but the grilled pineapple salad really stood out. You can taste every flavor, and it’s clear the ingredients are top quality. Nothing feels rushed or careless. And the cocktails deserve a mention. They’re crafted beautifully. I’ve even ordered cocktails at 11am because the menu tempted me that much. No regrets. Prins & Aap is a go-to for me when I want to feel good and a little special. The service is comfortable, the food delivers, and the ambience is uplifting in a way that makes you want to stay longer.

The ambiance was amazing, the effort put in the quality of service and setting was outstanding. The food quality was good, though the potions could’ve definitely been bigger in regards to the Brunch meals.

8.5/10The food was excellent. Very tasty and generous portions. Service was very friendly and pleasant, however, cutlery was forgotten twice, and wine, once. It was a quiet evening as it was a Monday. But the ambience is ok even on busy evenings.

The menu is modern and appealing We had a great night We expected something different for the duck (more soft), but maybe our expectations were wrong Because of its location its a bit overprized but we had a 50% discount with the fork and then the bill was pretty fine. Thank you!

Couldn’t be better!! It was a Sunday brunch menu, so there was a buffet and a menucard to order from. Everything tasted outstanding. The waiters are so polite, correct and friendly. The spot next to the water, but also the whole building, beautiful! Highly recommend this place.

Cool place in the very city centre of Amsterdam. Food was good but not extremely special. We enjoyed some delicate raw octopus, fried chicken and beef tartare. Kind and available staff. Wine also appreciated! We’ll be back 👍🏼

8.5/10Chill lounge. Very nice spaghetti aglio olio however despite my ability to tolerate spiciness it was unexpectedly way too hot without notifying. With so many staff members we would appreciate more service efficiency.

The place was do beautiful, chique and peaceful with a super nice view. The staff was incredibly friendly and did everything to please the guests. For me really one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam. Price / quality / service perfect!

Amazing location and atmosphere, very friendly stuff and polite. The food is not their biggest asset. We had a Caesar’s salad, fish n chips and the oysters. The oysters had some pieces inside made it a bit hard to chew, the food was nice but nothing crazy… Would go back again for the vibe and the drinks and maybe to try something else this time…

8.5/10Very nice location. I understand it is in Hyatt Hotel, so clean and nice indeed. Food quality can be improved: we had Caesar Sallad, but the chicken meat is not fresh made but processed (like Ham). Ribbeye we asked for medium rare but it is very well done close to burnt. Small portion. The Burger is good, a bit salty. But we did not care much about the food, it is very nice to have a table to comfortably see the canal and enjoy out time.

10/10Everything was superb; the welcome, the choice of seating, the food, the decor and attention to detail. The only slight criticism was that when we came to pay the bill, the promotion hadn’t been applied so we had to point it out, which was a little frustrating given that they must have known it was booked via your app. It was a lovely evening in every other respect.
