We always love eating at Prova.. it’s at such a great location and the vibe is always very laid-back and relaxed.. The food is fresh and excellent… my tuna steak sandwich on bread from the Azores is just a little bite of heaven.. my wife always gets the curry shrimp. A very unique spot… and definitely worth a visit here.. you can then go next-door to Carreca and get one of their famous croissants the top off a very nice time

A very pleasant meal. Octopus and tuna steak are tender and delicious. Great service from the owner. Highly recommended.

With all the previous high ratings, we expected so much more. What I got was a bowl of pasta that I could’ve made that hold myself. It consisted of noodles and sauce only for €16. My boyfriend ordered the chicken fried rice with asparagus. You could barely find any asparagus in the dish, and the chicken was sparse and tiny shredded dark pieces ….so basically it was a rice dish for €16. This was probably the most disappointing restaurant in our 10 days of travel in Spain and Portugal.

Our second time at prova, and everything was excellent again. We really like being able to get recommendations of wine, and try things, by the glass, that we normally couldn't. The fellow that runs the place really knows his wine so well, and recommends such great, unknown gems. The food is also terrific. 🍷

Love eating here.Restelo is a great neighborhood and Prova is situated on one of the coolest blocks in Lisbon.. The food is very fresh and I highly recommend the tuna sandwich and the shrimp curry… a good selection of wine and excellent desserts.. There’s nothing like sitting outside and enjoying the atmosphere along with the great food..

Prova-Enoteca never disappoints. As always, the food and wine were excellent. It is our favorite restaurant in Belem and we always look forward to having dinner there.

+1Highly recommend stopping by this restaurant when visiting Belém Tower! The owner is super friendly, and the dishes prepared by his wife are absolutely delicious. The pear and mushroom salad, grilled tuna, and grilled steak are all exceptional!

AWESOME dinner for the entire family-we are so glad we made reservations. Very intimate setting. Wine was wonderful and the help in the selection was much appreciated. Don't miss the octopus and the salad! Felt like having dinner in someone's home.

An excellent restaurant. The food is fabulous and the owners are gracious and friendly. Prova Enoteca is o e of our favorite Lisbon restaurants.

The range of food was amazing, and we were all very impressed with the quality. It was a lovely set menu including many local dishes that we may not have chosen ourselves, but were glad we got to try them. The wine recommendations were also spot on. All in a really nice evening, would definitely recommend.

I had higher hopes based on reviews. Service was average but not very friendly. Food was good though not top of my list in Lisbon.

An exceptional evening awaits! This local restaurant offers everything made from scratch with love. The owners, a knowledgeable local couple, are experts in wine pairings and put meticulous attention to detail into every dish they serve. Don’t hesitate to give it a try- chorizo with onions, burrata, almond chicken and almond cake were standouts!
