10/10My family and I were visiting Catania over the New Year. We are from the UK. We pre booked a table at Putì for the New Years Eve celebrations. From start to finish the experience we had at Puti was great. The staff were on hand to help explain the menu and so on point with their service. The food was exceptional and the whole feel of a buzzing restaurant on News Years Eve just topped of our evening. Grazie Mille 10/10 👍🏻

6.5/10We live in New York and go to Sicilian cuisine restaurants often, that’s why after reading great TripAdvisor reviews we made a reservation at Puti. But we were greatly disappointed! Some dishes were just ok and some were just unacceptable (like grilled seafood platter- rubbery octopus and calamari, half raw shrimps). Wouldn’t recommend!

10/10I am visiting Catania for the first time and saw all the previous positive reviews for Puti and so I made a reservation. The staff were super welcoming and the service was superb. We really enjoyed ordering off their back board of daily fresh seafood special. Every bite was delish and we enjoyed how the dishes were presented and the Mediterranean atmosphere. I will definitely visit again when I come back Catania! again! SKIP

10/10+2A taste of my childhood. The menu was in Italian written in the board , Soo you know it’s going to be a authentic local taste no tourist BS . Inside is Beautiful , but we chose outdoor because it was a beautiful breeze The waiter explained the whole menu each dish with detail . The staff gave service with a smile and was attentive, probably one of the quicker services in all of Italia . New napkins and utensils with each course My highlights Simple but perfection bruschetta with anchovies and mozzarella antipasti of caponata with sada was lip smacking Delicious with pinoli and capers , pasta all Norma was delicious but I missed ricotta salata replaced by strachino I believe Then the pork wrapped with prosciutto topped with Demi glaze was incredible that’s what pork Is supposed to taste like Grazie mille

4/10I will never forget how terribly smelly the place was. And I was seated outside! The caponata was not fresh. But the pasta was good. Service was good and efficient.

5.5/10We were very excited after reading the reviews. The staff are wonderful. The food is mid standard. Wine was crystallised on two occasions. However it was rectified immediately. The restaurant was much too warm and should think of investing in an air cooling system. We couldn’t wait to leave as the heat was unbearable. We wouldn’t return

10/10The restaurant is tucked away in Catania side road but well worth the effort to find it. The staff are friendly and knowledgable about the menu that changes each day. The food is delicious and cooked with great care. A busy and buzzy restaurant with lots of locals which is always a good sign. It was full so service was not speedy but that wasn’t a problem as we were having a great time. Thoroughly recommended.

9.5/10The staff is really amazing and welcoming. We ordered a raw mix seafood platter that was divine. It had shrimp, langoustine, tuna, oyster, swordfish, sea bass, all raw and a bit cured in lemon juice. We ordered mussel but unfortunately they ran out of it but did offer clams. Clams were cooked in some sort of spicy sauce with fresh tomatoes, we couldn’t get enough of it. To finish it off we had a platter of grilled prawns which also were divine. Overall great food

7.5/10The staff were a bit pushy when letting us decide on the food (did not allow us order what we originally wanted). Also, they did not wait for us to finish the dishes already in the table, prior to bringing more food. We felt rushed and did not enjoy as much as we should have.

10/10We were lucky to get a table on the same day as the restaurant was busy. The menu options are extensive, the food was delicious (we had to have octopus again before leaving Sicily) and the service was very attentive

10/10Perfect dinner, the food was delicious. The menu is updated on a daily basis and explained in detail by the staff. We defenetly recommend the restaurant which is closed to city center .

10/10Very good service, the menu was only in Italian but there was a young waiter who explained everything in English, he was super kind and professional. Also they were quick to serve us. Food was really good, we tried local dishes and everything was really tasty. The raw red shrimps were amazing, the absolute highlight of the dinner!

4/10Service: For a non Italian it was hard to understand what we were ordering and they only explained the menu to half the company by reading the menu to us in Italian. We ran out of water and they just wanted us to order more food, also some misses in orders. Kids food was quite expensive and not of top quality. ( please note that half the company comes from a fishing community/Island and has high standards from sea food) The food was average (Mostly ordered fried instead of raw) even if there were some highlights from the antipasti.

4.5/10I guess we have been spoilt by the amazing Sicilian food and hospitality. The ‘mood food’ was more like ‘moody food’. No attention was paid what so ever until we asked for the bill early. This was our worst restaurant experience in Catania. ????
