This meal came much recommended and we chose to dine here due to that. Frankly, our meal wasn’t great and the service wasn’t particularly friendly. I was disappointed.

Dorade au Yuzu - The Yuzu only has a sour taste and the aroma is not utilized at all. The taste of Dorade itself was buried under the other ingredients and couldn't n be tasted. Filet de bœuf, sauce soja-gingembre - Too much soy sauce taste = Too much salt. It was clearly too salty compared to the cod my companion orderd. I can't understand where the chef's idea of salt content is based.

Food, service and ambience were delightful!! Really the only criticism I'd have is re the Tiramisu, which was a stretch to call it that, certainly a deconstructed one, not hugely successful but everything else was 11/10! Worth your visit, time & money.

Love this little bistro right around the corner from our apartment. We have been there three times with out of town guests and they all loved it.

We found Quatre Vingt Neuf via the Fork, otherwise would never have found this small and excellent restaurant. Menu with limited choice but very fresh ingredients in a nice neighbourhood. We definitely can recommend and appreciate also the reasonable prices.

Truly enjoyed my dining experience here. Friendly service coupled with delicious food. The ravioli is highly recommend - it’s creamy, rich and decadent in flavour. Also love love love the ceviche.. it’s so fresh, delicate & clean in flavour, definitely refreshing to the palette. We ordered the steak that was meant for 2 people.. for €70 it is XXL in size and comes with a large plate of potato wedges, good for 3-4 people. The meat tasted delicious and uniquely topped with spring onions. Only one set back, some parts of the meat was sinewy and they should provide sharper knives. Ultimately we couldn’t finish the meal but took away the leftover meat and turned it into beef fried rice.

Absolutely delicious ravioles starter, follow by the creative tataki beef combined sauce chimichuri main course. Thank you for such amazing service! Looking forward to go back after the epidemic situation become better in Paris.

It was my second visit and still I was impressed especially by the service detail. The female staff (c'est domage that i didn't get her name) made our time more special! Not to mention that the food was yummm and they have a nice and reasonable wine list. For me, in Paris, it was more to find a restaurant which has a good service than a good food. So if you are looking for a nice meal and kind staff, 89 is the answer. I totally recommend 89, and will definitely visit again soon! Merci bcp! :D

We stumbled upon this place by mistake when looking for somewhere else in the area and were really glad we couldn't find the other one... It's only been open for a month and what a welcome addition to the 17th.
