We were the only guests, so we were well served. Both of us had stinco di maiale wuth roast potatoes. Quite tasty and a LOT of meat! Would have been nice with some little vegetables with it, though. Did not even find an option on the menu to order that extra.

The food was great and the service was amazing!

The service and ambience was great which I can not tell the same for the food. The sauteed mushrooms were very salty, the meat carpacio was in a pool of sauce which destroyed the dish. Desserts were very good, first courses - fish snd meat - were hardly average.

We had an unforgettable local sampler plate, delicious Puglian wine for a good price, appealing mains, and a completely unique take on Tiramisu. The covered rooftop terrace with a view was a treat after trudging around Matera on a warm day!

Gorgeous little restaurant on the edge of town with a cosy rooftop terrace. The food was excellent; beautiful pasta dishes, beef fillet that was amazing, traditional Pignata that was devoured with the local bread. And to finish - the most unusual Tiramisu we’ve ever seen but it was really good! The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. The wine recommendation was even spot on! Could not fault the place!

The food, setting, and service were all superb. The quality, freshness, and inventiveness of the food can’t be underestimated. Excellent value for money also. In my opinion, this is the best place to eat in Matera. Thank you again for a wonderful evening

We had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved getting to try a variety of regional dishes. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I felt very safe eating here – they were extremely mindful of cross-contamination and took my dietary needs seriously. Highly recommended!

Service in this restaurant is fantastic and they really make you feel welcomed! We had the tasting menu, which starts with a chef’s selection of starters: they were wonderful although the fact that nearby tables - very close to yours - have something you’d like more than that you had, detracts a bit from the enjoyment…. First course we went for the orecchiette al ragu della domenica, we will say that you can happily skip those. Main were a tagliata and a pignatta - both a humph away from exceptional. Dessert will not be mentioned here. We really loved the restaurant but didn’t love the food if that makes sense?

The whole experience was amazing! The staff were very friendly and professional! The food was creative but so delicious! A great experience in Mater that cannot be missed!

+1We chose the 7 course tasting menu. Every dish was a flavorful experience with a lot of surprises. The service was spot on with explanations of the dish. It’s a beautiful dining venture from beginning to end.

What a lovely surprise. We went for a little sightseeing in Matera and before we went I did a little research. We wanted high quality food prepared lovingly with a twist. We wanted to eat outdoors with a view and somewhere that was dog friendly. This restaurant hit every mark and then some. My husband who is a professional chef and a hard person to impress was beyond happy. We had an exquisite meal and sampled dishes from appetizers to prime, second and desert, all were fabulous. The staff was attentive and trained well. What a treat! LUCKY US. We will be back.

Well organized, but food without soul, from the fridge. Cook just posing, swordfish noodles without taste, with microscopic parts of fish, fishsalad from the bulk, no herbs, no glasses of wine, not a recommendation ????
