Recommended by my hotel during a short stay in Modica, Radici exceeded expectations. The food, service, and ambience were all excellent, with thoughtfully prepared dishes and attentive yet relaxed service. The experience was so good that I returned the following evening to try different dishes and enjoyed the same high standard throughout. Exceptional value for the quality, especially compared to similar restaurants back home. Highly recommended.

4-course lunch took just over 2 hours, it was not well-paced. Service was also poor, the individual who oversaw our table was not welcoming or the slightest bit friendly, and avoided engaging with us and their other tables as well. Thankfully there was a second person covering the dining room who stepped in and was wonderful. The food was very good. Some plates a bit more bold with their flavors than others. Timing did seem a bit off as some plates were lukewarm while others were hot. Maybe just an off day? Would certainly return if ever in or near Modica.

We enjoyed a lovely Saturday lunch at Radici. The food was amazing! We especially loved the leek cake with pumpkin mayo. The environment is beautiful (though the chairs are a bit uncomfortable). Staff was attentive. Overall it was one of our favorite meals in Sicily to date.

Located on a side street next to the Chiesa San Pietro, in a nice quiet location. The decor is pleasant and understated, and the service is attentive without being fussy. The menu was not large but all of the choices were appealing, and everything that we ordered was delicious and nicely plated. We would definitely return in the future if in the area.

Nice location and ambience indeed but unfortunately food was average and service terrible. No attention to customers, weitresses were just running randomly from one table to another... we arrived first and were attended only after I enquired 40min later.

All dishes were very balanced and memorable. We ordered two of the rabbit ragu tagliatelle and an antipasti - ricotta and guanciale dish to share. Delicious. Wine was fantastic also. We had a reservation for lunch, though seems as though we arrived towards the end of service. Recommend !

The most scrumptious fine dining meal in Sicily, do eat outside on the staircase leading up to the Cathedral behind. Stunning view, light and atmosphere. Being a party of six we tried most of the dishes on the menu. All created with a delicate symphony of flavours and served very aesthetically. Especially the fish carpaccio, broad bean super as starters were favoured, as well as the pork belly, fish of the day and the rabbit strew. All the dessert were a perfect finish to meal. All the dishes were created to create a wonderful harmony of flavours, so delicate and enjoyable. The service were excellent as well, can highly recommend this little restaurant.

Excellent food. Understaffed. Menus took time to arrive. Wine list arrived later. Staff wasn’t around when we wanted to ask for the bill. Clearly kitchen functions very very well and food quality is exceptional. Waiters less, possibly too many people. Ambience ruined by kids running all over the place. Felt like a kindergarten,

The service was absolutely perfect at Radici L'Osteria di Accursio! The restaurant is charming. Its location on the steps adjacent to the cathedral made it extra special. The food was truly exceptional.

Didn t really enjoy the food. The porchetta was over seasoned and wasn’t so tender as I had in another places. My wife had some linguini that should have contained some fish within them, but there was only a green sauce with them.. overall the food wasn’t worth the price comparing it with the rest of the restaurants in Modica (where we had exceptional food for more competitive prices). Additionally, a waiter seemed more offended when we asked if this is how the linguini are without showing any empathy to our situation. Furthemore, we were the second couple entering the location during the night, but still we were not offered/presented the idea of a table with a view that can compliment our experience ..

Wonderful, wonderful experience. Truly, the highlight of our trip in Sicily. We stayed in Ragusa, but went back to Modica just for this restaurant.

This was not just a dinner, but an experience, The service staff was super friendly and the kitchen chef came to our table at the end. The food was extremly delicious and alls typicical sicilian. I would definitly go again !! 100% recommend

As always, an excellent lunch. The tagliatelle with rabbit was simply divine! Today’s arancini was filled with ragusano, lemon and saffron - yummy.

Beautiful location next to the Cathedral and fab interior design. Lovely staff and absolutely delicious food from start to finish. Would definitely go back if I was in Modica again and I would love to try the sister restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed.

It is a simple menu. The fish carpaccio starter was a standout as was the pasta with Trapanese pesto. The paddlefish rolls were somewhat disappointing as the breadcrumb stuffing was dense and overwhelmed the delicate flavour of the fish. On balance a very nice meal accompanied by a great bottle of Etna white wine.

Dinner was excellent-the arancini are to die for! The staff are attentive and efficient. Definitely a restaurant to visit again.
