Amazingly fresh seafood and very good service. The waiters are of the old-school type, which we appreciated a lot. The ambiance feels a bit outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s, not in a good way. Shrimps, zamburinas and seabass with tomato sauce very good.

My wife and daughter and I had dinner at Rafa tonight, and it was absolutely fantastic. Every bit of dinner was wonderful, starting with a spectacular Spanish white wine suggested by Filo, who was one of our two waiters. Appetizers were excellent, particularly the monkfish, which was suggested by Johnny. The codfish croquetas that were provided were delicious. I must say that the service provided by Filo and Johnny was the best, and they treated us as if we were family! The main dishes were excellent. I enjoyed the sea bass, which was one of the best prepared seafood dishes I have had in a very long time. Desserts were also incredible, especially the Manchego cheesecake, which was a great way to end our dinner. Rafa was fantastic. Special thank you to Filo and Johnny, who were both amazing. We will absolutely be back to Rafa!!

Nothing special considering the very high prices charged. Which should include a printed menu rather than a QR code to look at it. We were given a list of recommendations and after ordering one the waiter came later to say they had run out of it. Odd because the restaurant was virtually empty, which also speaks to what madrileños may think of this restaurant. On the bright side the service was very attentive.

Rafe is a very good fish restaurant with a great selection of crustaceans; the Gallaecian Oysters were very excellent! The service was exemplary. For some reason our reservation had been 'lost', but they found us a table even though the restaurant was full by 1430h? the ambiance was excellent with a light modern décor in a traditional service environment. Look forward to a revisit!

We had a really good evening, food & service were excellent! If the lights were a bit dimmed and the AC a bit turned down, there would be absolutely nothing to complain about ;)
