Everything was perfect as it always is when we visit Monte-Carlo in April. We simply love the food, service and Rampoldi.

I am not sure what problems people are having with the service. Rampoldi servers were very attentive all night, we had some of the best service in the last two weeks. The food was good, we had the steak and the Farmers hot chicken. They were prepared decently. we had to send the steak back as they missed the medium. But our server was very quick to catch it and get a new one fired. The food itself was probably a bit higher priced than we would normally see compared to others. We did not do drinks as 20 dollars for a glass of red was a bit much and we just came from a wine bar.

The food was tremendous with a varied menu, the service was great and the restaurant itself is lovely inside. All in all a great experience. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Although we made a booking through Fork, they said they were fully booked and did not give us a table. The place had many empty tables at the time we were there
RampoldiDear costumer, we are sorry to hear this complain from you. We think that there was a mistake on your reservation since we cancelled it because we were fully booked. By chance, maybe you didn't see the notification/the system did not send it, and you came to the restaurant. However, our staff tried to satisfy you by giving you a seat and tried to make their best in order to give you a nice stay. We apologize if the experience was not as pleasurable as you expected it to be, but we invite you to come back again to have a taste of our hospitality and food. Best regards.

A fantastic restaurant, food was delicious, the staff were polite and kind, they made us feel Very welcome. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant decor superb. We visited for my daughters 18th, it was a special night and the perfect restaurant to celebrate in.

Very pretensious place. Food is likely great if you order the right thing. We had pasta, which was a bit salty and oily. Very high level of service but a bit overnearing

The food was impeccable however the apathy of our waiter as well as the ‘snooty’ atmosphere was off putting. A Michelin rated restaurant should not only have impeccable food but equally good service and ambiance in my opinion. We had dined at another Michelin rated hotel for lunch and our experience there was head and shoulders above Rampoldi. There are too many restaurant choices so I won’t recommend them.

Fabulous food and atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The chef is a star. Had been to the restaurant many times before the renovation it’s even better now.

As a Michelin restaurant we were expecting more attention from the waiters - waiting time was long for orders, replacing a fork when it fell …. The food wasn’t exceptional. We ordered a pizza a 2 meat plates: the dough of the pizza wasn’t well cooked (you could feel the raw taste of the dough). The meat “Rossini” was amazing!! I highly recommend it. The ambiance is not bad

Refused to honour the booking. Made up some excuse about her phone not working. Assume it was because we were a family. Terrible place.
RampoldiDear Alexander, the problem we had with your reservation is not linked with you being a family: at Rampoldi’s every customer is welcomed, families included for sure. You made a reservation with The Fork, but the system sent back an automatic respond because we were full. We are sorry if you felt unwelcome: that wasn’t what we wanted and we really hope you will come back with your family to enjoy our beautiful restaurant.

As arrived I was told my reservation was cancelled, after a few minutes I was told they had a table outside (plain November, in a rainy and windy day...)
RampoldiDear Michele, we are sorry if there was an incovenience about yur reservation. We only would like to underline that the alternative we proposed you was not outside: we have a veranda, that is closed and heated, so we thought it could be a good compromise. We want to tell you again that we are sorry if you hadn't get what you expceted and we would be really happy if you wanted to give us another chance to make you love our restaurant!
