Average, the food was not up to the mark. Only good for tourists. The restaurant was not welcoming the customers. The restaurant is booked tourist bus operators. No aico, so we had to keep the door open and the weed smoke smell was bad. Do visit for South Indian food. It sucks.

We had a reservation but the restaurant denied us a table. Although another customer said they would leave in 10 mins and the table will be free, they still didn’t give us a table. Though we booked a table for 7.30pm, the restaurant asked us to come an hour later to see if the tables are free. The customer service is terrible at this place.

The food was below standards “DOSA” item was too bad that me and my wife felt pukish after coming home.

We had ordered chef's special (Paneer Jalfrezi) with Naan. Food was tasty and served hot. Overall good experience.

The waiter was very unfriendly and the food was less than average. The food was bland and with very little flavour. Out of a party of 4 only one of us had an interesting dish that was spiced nicely. The prawn tandoori was very tasty The vegetarian thali was bland too as was the Prawn Goanese dish - literally zero flavour - So Disappointed and not cheap

At first, the owner was rude and denied giving us the booking discount made with the fork. He made us wait for a long for accepting this.

Good restaurant but it’s not a true South Indian one :-) the dishes were good and service was good. Only complaint I have ( this is in general across Europe) is they don’t serve water free! That’s so weird that you need to buy water or ice. In US no matter what water and ice is served in abundance in tall glasses. Paying 4 or 5 euros just for a glass of water is stupidly absurd. Nevertheless if you are near Amsterdam Centraal and need a quick bite not having to walk far, this is a good place.

Very expensive. We had to pay 9(!) euros for an extra portion of rice. The portions were also very small... Which was lucky in the end. I had food poisoning after the visit.

The Rangoli was just right for my husband and me. We enjoyed a late lunch that was served in good time, was delicious and enough to satisfy our appetite. It was fairly quiet and in a pleasant area. We were pleased to see regular customers coming in.

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The plates were generously served. We also didn't have to ask for the discount, they applied it directly.

The food was very good but the service wasn't very warm and they refused to accept any kind of credit / debit card while the AMEX, VISA & mastercard stickers are on the door.

We tried South Indian dosa and thali for the first time! It was a great introduction! Would love to try again soon.. We had a friendly waiter, helped us through our dinner and adviced us. The interior come more to life at night, in the day it looks kind of outdated.

The food tasted alright but was not fresh. I believe most people that have given it rave reviews are Tourists struggling to find Indian food. The Sambar with the Dosa was far from authentic.

This is one of Amsterdams best Indian Restaurants. The food is very good, portions are big, staff is excellent. If you enjoy Indian food this is your next favourit.

The food is very good, it was my seconf time there, and the waiter was very nice and friendly, but at the moment of the payment it turned out that the promotion on the app was 30%, but they applied to us only 20%. When we requested to have the 30% applied as it was mentioned in the reservation they got very angry and complaining. Finally showing the reservation done on the phone the agreed to apply 30%, but manners were not appropiate. And it was a bad end for a lovely dinner.

Well-prepared South Indian dishes, most were good. Service was somewhat slow. Interior is a basic Indian restaurant, no design or special touches.

Going here for dosas, they are pretty good and if you insist, you can get a spicy sambar and chutney sans sweet :) - which i prefer. I also tried the north indian dishes here - the dal, matar paneer, chicken vindaloo - all good. They can temper the spice level to your liking if you specify. I have used catering from this place for parties and they are quite friendly and prompt. Quite accommodating as well - given that I always have some annoying quirky request with every order :) delicious south & north indian food...
