The food at the Rani is the very best Indian food in Lausanne. It's home-made cooking and gourmet style. The food is extremely savory, and each dish has different flavors and is wonderfully satiating yet light. The food is beautifully presented like pieces of art. The prices are absolutely reasonable and I can't wait to go back and to bring others there as well. It's a must try address in Lausanne.

Honestly one of the best indian I had in Lausanne! The owner is super friendly and the foodis delish! He prepared my vindaloo as spicy as i love it! I admit this time i took my tupp for the day after… Trust me that says a lot… MUST GO

The service was good, but the food not. Nothing to do with the photos posted here. Plus the dish i asked for was nothing to do with the real one and they charged much more than the price in the menu, just because was discounted, part of the Fork agreement. Don't recommend it:(

Terrible experience : First of all, no one asked to check our COVID certificates and the waiter was wearing his mask as a necklace... The photos on The Fork showing almost gourmet dishes have nothing to do with reality. Average cooking, 3 pieces of chicken cartilage in one tiny curry portion, painfully slow service and a setting lacking any charm. Will definitely not be back!

Restaurant is calm and cozy. Owner is very welcoming and was always checking if we needed something. Dishes were great and I really enjoyed the food. I will be definitely returning soon

Very nice food, the plates were well dressed, which is not always the case in Indian restaurant. The setting is not very Indian, actually I drove right past it expecting something more colorful, appreciate that there are a few parking spaces directly in front.

Lovely food. The Masala Dosai was delicious as was my boyfriends Chicken Korma. The food was served quickly and the service was great. Discount wasn't applied to food, but it was worth the full price.
