10/10After almost 2 weeks in Portugal and Spain, my husband and I found Rao to be THE best restaurant on our trip! The service is phenomenal, the atmosphere is cozy and intimate. We tried the tomato bread, sea bass ceviche, duck breast, lamb, pork cheeks and the paella. Everything was delicious and so incredibly fresh! Recommend this local establishment 100%!!

I went to RAO 4 years ago and was very impressed with the food an service at the time. Went to RAO again last night and are very impressed again with food & service and surroundings. We felt very welcome and waiters was looking really well after us. I can only give me highest recommendation.

10/10The food is classic Catalonian with a slight twist. All very delicious. I can't recommend the pork cheeks enough. They were fantastic! The service was top notch, the best I've had in the city. highly recommend!

9/10The Ceviche was one of the best I ever had. Paella needed some work. Staff/Owner were exceptional. Love the singer sewing tables & decor overall. Nice touch of a complimentary cocktail at the bar next door. Really good , wish I could recreate the recipe for that drink.

The restaurant its self was so beautiful. The food was even better. The waiters and waitresses were so nice. They had a super cute cocktail bar Nextdoor. Highly recommend for a date night.

The service and food were outstanding. This was our last dinner in Barcelona on our family vacation (8 people) and we had such a great time. We also had many food allergies in our group that they accommodated extremely well. We loved the whole experience!! Juan was amazing!

7/10Nice, cosy restaurant and friendly staff. The reason behind the low score was that we ordered AND paid for 6 dishes, but only got 5.. We never got the Iberian pork cheek. We were among the last to be seated, so when the dessert arrived, we didn't think we were missing anything. It wasn't until we checked the receipt that we realized that the pork cheek was missing. Date of visit: May 17th.
