The food is exquisite! The staff, everyone there were so kind and made me fel at home. Its a beautiful location surrounded with orange and lemon trees. I highly recommend!

7/10I thought the food was tasty. But the menu can be misleading- it requires a better english translation for travellers. Restaurant seemed short staffed but the two people working work doing their best to accommodate a full house

9.5/10We were recommended this restaurant by friends and it did not disappoint. The setting is lovely and you feel away from the busy street. The food selection is not only exceptional but the quality is phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed all our courses and the only thing better overall than the food was the staff. They were fantastic and knowledgeable which made the entire meal more than memorable.

10/10Great atmosphere...off of Corso Umberto, the restaurant is in a beautiful setting, with 5-star service and food quality. Prices are reasonable for the quality and setting of the restaurant. We also found the owner is a neighbor to us in our Taormina home!

Pretty garden patio restaurant in the heart of tourist town Taormina. The menu is updated to reflect local freshly sourced food. Our chosen dishes-beef carpaccio, octopus on a carrot purée, mains of beef ragu on tender pasta, for my husband slow cooked fillet of beef and cannolo to finish. I ordered almond tart which was unexpectedly more like a biscuit (think digestive). The dessert wines were delicious. Service & ambience very good.

9.5/10We had a beautiful meal at this restaurant. The staff try very hard to please and the food was excellent. It is definitely worth a visit. We sat in the courtyard amongst beautiful vines and trees.

9.5/10We had a superb meal at Raya. The food is certainly not cheap. Starters for £18 and up, mains from £22 for pasta up to £30. Dessert £15. However it was worth the price tag for the quality and presentation of the food. The cover charge includes delicious bread and a beautiful amuse bouche type thing. My glass of wine was a local chardonnay which was delicious (£7). The only thing I would change is the lighting inside is quite bright hence lower score for ambiance. Outside looks lovely but in April everyone was seated inside.

9/10Very good food & experience-even tho they did NOT have my Fork reservation ‘in the books’. PLUS. They open at 7:30 & not 7:00 which was when my Fork res was for! That said, they were very accommodating & friendly. Food was terrific. Squash blossom app was stellar!

Beautiful setting under bougainvillea and twinkling lights. Just off Via Corso. Caring service, delicious food. We loved the parmigiana and caponata starter. Fish of the day with fresh, juicy, tomato and olive sauce. And fresh tuna in a pistachio crust were mouthwatering. Dessert was sublime tiramisu. Only Raya’s second season and we wish it ongoing success.
