The food was average, maybe average plus. The service was, if anything, mediocre. A nice ambience (until the guests are instructed to leave with no prior information). Clearly not in line with the supposed quality and certainly not with the price. An experience not to repeat.

Most reviews of this place are rating value rather than quality. Make no mistake: this place is outrageously expensive and overpriced. But you know how to look up prices yourself, don’t you? The quality is excellent, and not just everything coated in marble. Oh sure, this place will never cover the expenses of a restauranteur’s ego project. But indulge if you can get a discount and enjoy while it lasts. The best arroz de mariscos I’ve had in seven years living in Portugal: super rich, but again outrageously pricey.

We visited on December 31st, and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely amazing—truly top-notch! The chef, the service, and the atmosphere were all a perfect 10. We would love to come back again. It was definitely the right choice to enjoy our last meal of 2024 at this wonderful place.

Overall enjoyed our lunch experience. Is an interesting location and nice presentation. The most senior service person was very good but other staff could do with more coordination and training - a few small things which should have be picked up on.

Bárbara provided an excelent service and the restaurante ambience was very good and calm, food was 10/10 will definitely come back for the arroz de marisco. The best meal I have had in a long time. Thank you!

Real Perola manages to feel both casual and elegant at the same time. The tile decor is stunning. The staff go out of their way to be welcoming and friendly. This is our second visit and we chose it for a special occasion. I’m not a big fan of “couverts” but they soak their bread in a hot butter sauce and it is delicious; crisp and light. The garlic shrimp is among the best in the city and we have eaten it everywhere. The steak and the tenderloin sandwich were also popular at our table. Sides are solid including the creamed spinach and their fries are crispy, salty, and light. Wine list is solid. We’d love to see them expand their cocktail list. Otherwise we will be back soon.

Lucus, the bartender, was the absolute best! He made our night so memorable & enjoyable. His knowledge with cocktails & food was extraordinary! Although we had a reservation, we decided to stay at the bar to have dinner. His recommendations were superb!

The place has a good ambiance, good food and good service but sadly it’s just overly hyped up and then overpriced for what it is. I don’t mind expensive places as long as I still feel I’m getting good value for money and being in Lisbon where there is gorgeous seafood all over, I felt this place was just trying too hard to be hip and the prices were based on the name of the restaurant and not necessarily the experience.
