10/10Staff did an outstanding job making our dining experience most pleasurable. The bistecca Ala florentina was perfectly done. Will be the only place we go for steak dinner influence when we return.

8/10Food was excellent. Great martinis and wine list. Head server was a little rude. I told him I speak Italian but he said it’s better to speak in English. He showed Italian diners their steaks before cooking but not us. He cut Italian diners’ steaks but had the other servers cut ours and other non-Italians.

3.5/10This restaurant was extremely overhyped. The service is bad. They brought us bread, but no plates to place our olive oil. They forgot to bring out our drink menu. We had to grab he waiter when we wanted something. The food was not good. The bread was stale. The sides were ok. The steak was not good, especially for the price you are paying. To top it all off, there was a big cockroach crawling next to our table. The waiters did not seem very troubled by that. In sum, not worth it, especially at that price point. Go somewhere else.

10/10Absolutely the best meal we’ve had in all of Italy. The servers were so patient, playful, ready to explain whatever we did not understand. Such a lovely space and equally lovely and delicious food.

4.5/10Unfortunately this will be one of my first negative reviews in Italy but we had shockingly bad food here. Now just get this out of the way - We did not have the Bistecca which many of the other patrons are raving about and I’m sure they were very good. We just weren’t feeling like it but thought the rest of the food should be worthy of its billing as a top restaurant, but were totally disappointed. The Milan fried chicken was poorly seasoned, dry and tasteless. The meatballs were equally dry in watered down sauce. Again, i understand that the star here is the steak but this should not be an excuse for having a completely sub par menu outside of your star dish, especially given the price and general standing of the establishment. I have to say, avoid at all costs if you are having anything else but the Bistecca.

5/10Excellent steak, but side dishes, appetizer and dessert were disappointing. This is a large, high volume restaurant these days and all the food except the steak seemed like something you could get in a cafeteria where food is prepared in large quantities then reheated not something a skilled chef would prepare. In a city with such fabulous food, we were surprised the food except the excellent steak was so poor

10/10The gnudi and bistecca were outstanding. I have had a lot of great meals in Italy, and this was at the top of the experiences. Make the reservation. You won't be disappointed.

10/10This restaurant was AMAiZING! The ambiance is so romantic and moody. The wait staff are so knowledgeable on the food and wine available. The Florentine steak is FANTASTIC. I would suggest sharing with three people instead of two because it is massive. Overall a fantastic experience. A little expensive, but worth a stop when you’re in Florence! Also make a reservation!

10/10An amazing restaurant. A beautiful building to match the incredible food. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly all evening, offering suggestions towards food, catering the meal to our personal tastes. Our steak was cooked to perfection. Perfetto!

9/10Great atmosphere, and excellent service from the two servers. Everything was delicious but the steak was extremely large and very rare which I am just not used to. The desserts of cheesecake and a homemade cake were delicious and the best I’ve ever had.
