This restaurant is off the tourist tracks. The food was typically Italian and extremely authentic to the region. However the staff were clearly proud to share ingredients from other areas I.e olio from Puglia, explaining the best and why it’s used. This drawing together the best of Italian regions. The ambiance was superb along with the service and attentiveness of the staff. 100%we will return on future visits to Venice.

Great attentive service. Beef cheeks in Barolo wine reduction was excellent.

A slow cooking process, letting the wine reduce gently until everything becomes round, soft, and full of character. The best place in Venice hands down! Food is super tasty, the place itself is spectacular. Cleanliness is top notch and price is aligned with what you get. You shall not miss this place.

Wonderful staff and food. There are pieces of artwork from local college students for sale at this restaurant as well. It makes for a very lovely ambience.

Quiet, out of the way, location with good food, even better service and a true local feel with plenty of locals eating there mixed with tourists, which the staff are very accommodating to in a friendly and professional way.

The food and service was excellent. They also are very baby friendly! They had a baby chair and also were able to dish out something for our baby to eat. Wonderful experience, definitely eating here again to try the other dishes!

gorgeous family run restaurant with friendly staff who are very passionate about the food they create and serve. The truffle pasta is divine and the beef cheeks perfectly soft and so flavourful. I have eaten in many restaurants in Venice and would rather this most highly. We will definitely be back, be sure to try the Amaro! Thank you for an outstanding dining experience.

We appreciated it not being in the thick of things and on a quiet side street. The food was prepared well and delicious. They offered nice portions. The tiramisu was yummy. The servers were attentive.

A wonderful restaurant, a true gem in the heart of Venice. Very welcoming and warm services. Eggplant parmigiana was very tasty and octopus tender. Ink pasta was briny and sweet at the same time. Highly recommend!

Regina Sconta was amazing! The food, wine, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We speak little Italian but his English was excellent, so no issues. We asked to share a 1st course, and they split it onto 2 plates for us. We also asked not to rush the food, and our waiter checked with us before serving courses, which was excellent! We will definitely return to this restaurant next time we're in Venice!

From start to finish: perfection. A warm friendly welcome, terrific & cheerful service. Fantastic food, from starters to primi, secondi, e dolce. And reasonable price for an upscale restaurant. We loved it. Regina sconto (hidden queen in Venetian dialect) is definitely a tremendous experience to have found!

The meal was fantastic. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavourful. The plating was also excellent. As good as the food was, the staff may have been even better. They were incredibly friendly, kind, helpful, and attentive. Overall we had arguably the best meal we have had while travelling throughout Italy.
