Regina Sconta was amazing! The food, wine, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We speak little Italian but his English was excellent, so no issues. We asked to share a 1st course, and they split it onto 2 plates for us. We also asked not to rush the food, and our waiter checked with us before serving courses, which was excellent! We will definitely return to this restaurant next time we're in Venice!

From start to finish: perfection. A warm friendly welcome, terrific & cheerful service. Fantastic food, from starters to primi, secondi, e dolce. And reasonable price for an upscale restaurant. We loved it. Regina sconto (hidden queen in Venetian dialect) is definitely a tremendous experience to have found!

The meal was fantastic. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavourful. The plating was also excellent. As good as the food was, the staff may have been even better. They were incredibly friendly, kind, helpful, and attentive. Overall we had arguably the best meal we have had while travelling throughout Italy. Highly recommend this place to anyone travelling through Venice.

Absolute hidden gem. We had one of the best dinners of our entire two week trip through Italy here. The service was outstanding and the food was just as good. Very charming, rustic atmosphere. Away from the busy tourist areas, absolutely worth the visit.

Two years ago, we (3 couples) were lucky enough to find this restaurant on the recommendation of a concierge. My wife and I returned a year later when traveling with our son, Last night, the three couples returned. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Particularly last night, after just arriving from an over night nine-hour flight, it was going to be challenge for the restaurant to live up to our expectations. It does not disappoint! It far exceeded what we could imagine. We all shared a special appetizer of an assortment of raw seafood in grapefruit juice. Super interesting and super delicious! My wife had the Osso Bucco while I had the house-made Tagliolino with Black Truffle. Both superb! These dishes were paired beautifully with local, unique delicious wines recommended by the staff. We finished our meal with the Millefoglie crema chantilly perla e cannella. So light and airy! So delicate! So good! Fantastic meal! Fantastic service! Fantastic ambience! A must on any visitor to Venice!

We were recommended to try this place by our Hotel concierge. I had reservations planned but had found the list online on a US tour website. Our kind concierge scoffed at the list and replanned our dinner plans each night. I couldn’t have been happier with our meal at Regina Sconta! The Chef is the female owner and each dish she serves has such good taste and presentation. I was really impressed with the menu items and their flavor profiles of local ingredients. We also had the pleasure of being served by the owner Chef’s son. He was a really incredible guy and was so proud of his Mom’s food and his heritage as a Venetian. It was just a JOY to have eaten at this restaurant and I would go back again at any moment next time I’m in Italy

From the moment he walked into this unique space, you feel like you found a local secret. The service is second to none, as.Pipo and Giovani perform a graceful I spoke experience. You really do feel like family. And the food… Absolutely executed to the highest of standards. We had the prosciutto and melon, steak, tartar, Bronzino, and an avalanche of truffle pasta. Each dish topped itself. This family business is a must stop in Venice.

The clam pasta alone is worth the visit. Unlike the often-tiny, underwhelming clams served elsewhere, the ones here are remarkably plump and sweet. You can really tell the difference when the chef (Mama!) selects everything personally at the market each morning. Another standout was the crudo of three prawns—Spanish red shrimp, Italian blue shrimp, and scampi. Each had its own distinct sweetness and texture, and served with minimal dressing to let the natural flavors shine.
