6/10Let down by the value and quality of the food Wonderful staff and service. Great Negroni. The veal was hammered in the traditional method, but overcooked with no flavour. The lasagne nearly saved it adding some moisture. Photos online are misleading, you’re going to pay a premium for Porto Cervo, but here outside there’s no view. It’s essentially a gazebo at the end of a car park.

We are sorry that some of the dishes did not meet your expectations — we always take comments on food quality seriously, as it helps us to improve. During the meal we always ask our guests how everything is going: if something is not to your liking, letting us know immediately allows us to fix and make it right on the spot. Regarding the photos, they are not misleading: our restaurant opens onto two different squares. Piazza degli Archi, more secluded and surrounded by boutiques, is open only for the three hottest months of the season, while Piazza degli Ulivi remains open throughout the season. Both represent our real setting, which is why both appear in our pictures. We hope you may give us another chance in the future to offer you a more enjoyable dining experience. Kind regards, Matteo

10/10We had the most amazing evening celebrating my husband’s 51st birthday at Renato Pedronelli in Porto Cervo. From start to finish, everything was impeccable—the food, the wine, and the service were all truly exceptional. A special thank you to Davide, Bruno, and Marco, who went above and beyond to make our evening wonderful and magical. Their warmth and care made us feel so welcomed and celebrated. The atmosphere, paired with such outstanding hospitality, created an unforgettable experience. Next time we find ourselves in Sardinia and Porto Cervo, we will absolutely be returning.

2/10The food was below expectations, the service polite but slow, and in general for a restaurant in the heart of Porto Cervo we would expect a lot better.

Absolutely amazing food and service. The mussels were fresh, tasty and huge. The raviolis were to die for. I have never tasted such fresh lemon ricotta flavor like this. The eggplant was incredible. Outstanding flavor in marina sauce. Family run! Absolutely great people!

7.5/10OK, just. Mussels were cold and reheated, perhaps even frozen,I wasn’t asked how I would like my fillet steak cooked, luckily it was ok, lasagna average but v pricy. Service however was excellent. Would I go back, no, but compared to other places in Puerto Cervo this is probably the best.

9.5/10We were greeted by a welcoming staff along with the owner. Our waiter/Captain was extremely helpful in explaining the menu and helping us select the perfect Sardinian wine. Food was delicious and service was attentive but not overbearing. We would go back and highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

2/10The place is nice but the service is terrible. The food was ok but considering the prices and the fame we would have expected better than that. Also we were next to a lousy group who was nearly on our knees. The restaurant was empty but the staff still chose to sit them next to us. This ruined what could have been a quiet and nice romantic dinner. We definitely don’t recommend the place.

+1We have heard about the seafood in Sardinia and sobwe ordered lots of seafood. Very impressive. Seafood was very fresh and tasty. Just a bit more pricey than I expected as I thought local food would be more affordable. Service was excellent. Just a bit too much attention from the staff. Maybe cos we were the only table dining so late.

9/10This was a really enjoyable place to have a meal The staff were very pleasant and the menu was satisfying. The fish was super fresh and delicious. Their meat options were good too. A bit on the expensive side for some dishes but nevertheless a great experience and you are in Porto Cervo after all.

4/10I had booked a table and because I was on my own they stuck me in a corner whilst the whole restaurant was empty, I had to complain vehemently twice to be moved to a better table. Food was ok but terribly over priced (double what you pay elsewhere in Sardinia) and not justified by either view, ambiance, service or exceptional food… just because it’s Porto Cervo. Everything is served with 6 very thin slices of fried potatoes, I asked for same veg and was charged 10€ for 5 thin slices of zucchini and 1 tiny strip of pepper. Avoid if you can, not worth the money.

10/10This place is a little gem. We even had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Pedrinelli and he was a joy as well. The staff was top notch and the food was great, as was the atmosphere. My family and I highly recommend the restaurant
