We loved our visit to Residente! The service was excellent., the food was amazing! My son asked me to say that the burrata focaccia has changed his life! Fabulous!

We came here with a reservation but it wasn’t mandatory. Everything was delicious especially the croquettes and sangria but we also got chicken parm and burger and loved it. They are also so friendly as well as dog friendly!!

Great location, wonderful staff, food was a good quality, well presented but some dishes lacked seasoning and that extra oomph.

We had many memorable meals in Cascais. This meal was one of the finest we had anywhere. The crispy salmon and shrimp tempura were outstanding. Everything was! The service was spot on. Attentive and helpful.

The waitress was so lovely and attentive. The wait time between courses was perfect and the food was delicious. The foccacia sandwich and codfish main were incredible.

Everything we tried was excellent! (brie, croquetas, muqueca , duck, tiramisu). We’re really fond of tiramisu, we’ve tried it all over the world, and this one was one of the best ever! (even better than in a lot of places in Italy!) The wine by the glass was also very good (white and red, both from Douro). Last but not least, the staff is really nice!!! They are doing what they love, that’s for sure! Congratularions!!! Keep up the good job!

Lovely lively restaurant with outside terrace. Staff are friendly and efficient. Nice vibes with a mixed clientele. Food is tapas with larger dishes to share. All very tasty and excellent value for money. Good wine list too.

Visited Residente twice, for lunch and dinner the following day. Both experiences fantastic. The dinner service was crazy busy but we were attended to straightaway. A small issue with the food was resolved immediately and with good grace- that can be quite a rare experience in a restaurant. The food was beautifully cooked and the choices felt original. All the staff that dealt with us were great. Residente is in a street lively with restaurants so a great buzz. Highly recommended .

Oktopus rice was salty and chewy, other dishes were ok to rather good. Service at the beginning excellent, afterwords we were not seen anymore. All in all a classical touristic site, but with good atmosphaere.

Very nice welcome and attentive servers. Food portions were rather small and bad value for the price. Octopus was badly cooked and tough as rubber. Good buzzy atmosphere but music was very loud. More a place for drinks than for food.

No bad choices. I think we (table of 5) ordered every small plate and a couple big ones. They were all excellent, as was the service. The wine recommendation was spot on.

Nicely placed restaurant next to train station. I ate there after visiting Cascais during the day and just before taking my train back to Lisbon. Food was delicious : I had shrimp tempura as starter, Fish and Shrimp Moquequa with Forofa flower as main dish and cheesecake as dessert. I recommend this restaurant !

All of the staff were wonderful and the food delicious. Especially noteworthy were the Mr. Reyes cocktail and the "chocolate mousse cake" with salted caramel - I would return just for those.
