Owner was rude when we wanted to share an entree. Ignored us rest of dinner. Ambiance was like a diner not a fine dining restaurant.
Restaurant 6 New York - Jérôme GangneuxIn response to your comment, please note that this is the first time in 23 years of 6 New York that when I take my order, customers have told me they aren't hungry, which I can understand, but from then on, I'm only sharing one dish, a sea bass fillet for two, with no appetizer, no dessert, no wine or other drinks. We do our job for the pleasure of it. Best regards

+2We ordered the special chef’s surprise 5 course meal. Every dish was incredible! The champagne and wine was delicious. The served and the am since were great too. The chef was very welcoming, and the view of the Eiffel Tower at night was magical. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any special night out.

The Chef was so awesome!! We are from America and never have we had a Chef greet us at the table at the beginning of a meal! He was so gracious, discussed the menu and helped us to order for the 3 children along with 4 adults. Food was simply amazing! Loved loved loved this restaurant with Eiffel Tower in the close distance. Just a side note, when all of Paris was going crazy with a soccer championship win, we just happened to come up on 6 New York again when trying to get away from the craziness of the streets. The Chef came out and invited us in with the children to stay safe. Such an amazing experience two different nights! Thank you for everything Chef! Don't miss 6 New York if in Paris!

The food was amazing, delicious and elegantly presented at Restaurant 6. Service was wonderful and a divine view of the sparkling Eiffel tower. The owner was gracious and warm. It was an enchanting evening and what you'd hope for when eating out in Paris!

Fantastic food. Chefs came to the table and introduced himself and made suggestions. Price was expensive but reasonable for the quality. Great location, and super service.

I will definitely go back to this restaurant next time to visit Paris and I will recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a delightful dinner close to the Eiffel Tower.

The food was nothing but spectacular. The service was incredible and they did not mind speaking English. The restaurant was an intimate setting. With a view of the Eiffel Tower. Suggestion would be to have a reservation before 8:00. It gets packed after 8:00

Excellent service, from reception lady to waiters and the Chef actually coming by to introduce day’s many to you personally! Stylish servings, tasty dishes- point to come back to have a perfect dining with a view to Madame!

The owner and his wife were so personable and explained in detail all that we wanted to know. We felt like family coming for a visit and the food was delicious! Especially the chocolate and mango sorbet dessert! A must have! And the location and ambiance are top notch! Very comfortable and beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine!

+4The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, the service was attentive, patient and businesslike. The dishes we ordered were very good - tasty, creative in moderation and with a close affinity to the local French cuisine, with touches of fusion. It was a great experience.

Went for dinner with my fiancé and we got the “chef special menu “ which was perfect! Gave us experience of everything severed there since we got different dishes every time.

Return visit. 6 New York remains a very nice discovery with a spectacular setting with a view over the Eiffel Tower. The veal chop was just outstanding, the best I have eaten in France. The cheese plate was also excellent. My wife, unfortunately, was a bit disappointed with the St. Pierre she ordered. The sauce and preparation were fine but the fish itself seemed a lacking in flavor. We will definitely return.

Celebrated an anniversary lunch at New York in sight of the Eiffel Tower. Service was impeccable as was the food. Would highly recommend.

An great new discovery in Paris. With an excellent price/value relationship and a view of the Eiffel Tower, what could be better? Well, what could be better is the food. I ate the very best St.Pierre of my life here yesterday. St. Pierre is one of those fish, which in the hands of a second rate chef, never fails to disappoint. But in the hands of a master, it is an unforgettable experience. So it was here yesterday. My wife had the Thon mi-cuit with sauce Provençal, and it was equally fine. Lastly, I should highlight the cheese plate. Perhaps I don't hang out in the right places but I have always found Morbier to be a nothing cheese. Well, I tasted the REAL Morbier here yesterday, and it was transformative. Add in a very fine wine list and valet parking and you have all the ingredients of new Parisian bonne adresse. We will return -- often.

The meal was to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. On arriving the staff were friendly and engaging allowing us to pick our table. A magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower across the river. From start to finish the staff were attentive and made the meal perfect. The owner/chief Jérôme came to our table giving us the choice of the specials which were exquisite. The wine was amazing and my wife loved it when we were drinking our wine with the eddies tower began twinkling in the view of our table. Even a special desert and photo with the owner Jerome Gangneux Thank you soo much for making our evening special.

Wonderful food and service with close attention by the chef/owner himself. Nice view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower too. Space is a stylish, classic French restaurant. High end in all respects!
