3/10We had a very disappointing meal. This was supposed to be the culinary highlight of our trip to Paris. The menu looked innovative and had prices to match. However, most of the food, despite a beautiful presentation, was quite bland. Service was not up to Michelin standards. After pouring our first glass of wine the wait staff never refilled our wine or water glasses. The first two courses were served in such rapid succession that we had to ask the staff to slow down the service or we would have finished a 5 course dinner in less than an hour. We had much better meals at half the price.

10/10Outstanding food and service in a quiet, comfortable setting. The best meal we have had in Paris in many years. The every dish on the signature menu was a unique combination of ingredients and flavors.

The lunch menu is incredible. The amount of money they charge for the whole lunch course is borderline criminal. They stick to the traditional french cuisine but at the same time adding their own spin in some very subtle and surprisingly pleasant ways. The Spinach Snail Soup blew my mind with its texture, the Chicken Breast is juicy and soft and meaty all at the same time. Riz au Lait is super refreshing. Not to mention their service is also very satisfying. Overall me and my friend enjoyed our meal a LOT, and would recommend you try as well.

Writing a review about a restaurant like Auguste is almost obscene, not least because ways of experiencing excellence are highly varied and very subjective. The level of craftsmanship and art involved are extraordinary, but are in the eye (or rather the taste buds) of the diner. The most important point, by far, is that the food is extraordinarily good and delicious and enjoyable in the extreme. Served with aplomb and understated kindness. At this level of excellence it becomes almost Kafkaesque how many stars have been awarded. Auguste has one I think but should have three and eventually will. Don't give the scoring a thought - just find yourself a table here and drink and dine like a God for a night. Try everything, twice if something is particularly transcendent for you like the baba was for me. Indulge. Revel. Make your guts smile.

9.5/10Wonderful service and sublime food. What a lovely experience. The food was creative, elegantly presented and intensely flavorful. The serving staff, across the board, were attentive and professional without being stuffy. The dining room itself is cozy and intimate. The only drawback was having a number of guests at the tables staring into their phones which really kills the ambience (and seems disrespectful to the restaurant staff too). The spinach soup with frogs legs was my favourite of all of the dishes we enjoyed. The langoustines too were beautifully rendered. The restaurant is absolutely worthy of its high ratings and praise.

The privacy service was impeccable; the staff were quick to notice our needs and responded promptly to our request for a wine change. The pre- and post-meal snacks were also excellent, showcasing the high standards of a traditional French restaurant.

9.5/10This lunch was a nice experience. They keep the price affordable while having high quality. The service staff were kind and expedient. Tableware, plates, and bowls were all simple but fun stylistically. The dining room is small and it can get a little loud at times. Entering the restaurant, there was no one to greet us but someone showed up after a couple of minutes to show us to our table and take our coats. It seems like every person does every job. Which is fine by me. Just a little awkward. The food was delicious, not pushing boundaries but everything was quality and I enjoyed every plate.

+1My last meal in Paris when I am young, next time travel to Paris(if I have chances) maybe many years later. This restaurant gave me a great memory about Paris and French dishes. The staff there were very kind.

9/10The servers were utterly delightful and welcoming, the ambience was elegant yet comfortable, and the food was revelatory. It was only the dessert which wasn't quite to my taste, but the appetizers and main course were delicious, innovative, and gorgeous.

10/10A quiet and elegant stop near the invalides. All three course of our formule Dejeuner were full of amazing and unexpected flavors. Who would have thought if we had choose a favorite course it would the berry dessert with beet ice cream! Amazing complex flavors throughout the meal. The service was refined and the pacing was just right. For under 50 euro, a real Michelin find.

+1I recently enjoyed the tasting menu at Auguste – Gaël Orieux in Paris, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Every course was beautifully presented and full of surprising, delicate flavors that truly reflected modern French cuisine. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being formal, and the whole evening felt relaxed yet refined. Definitely a place I’d love to return!

+6We had the signature menu. Everything was wonderful. The one of the main dishes was duck, and I’m just not a fan of duck, but my spouse loved the dish. Other than the duck, I enjoyed everything including the 5 different wine pairings.

We had a great time and meal at Auguste. We arrived at 8:45 pm. Service was spot on and friendly. We were guided to what to order off the menu . The red mullet and a dish with razor clams and risotto were stand outs . The chef brought out some additional treats . Afterwards, the staff helped us with a cab and a call. All at all, a remarkable evening.

9/10The lunch formule at 47 Euros is a good bargain. The food is excellent and the presentation is terrific. The restaurant was a bit stuffy and could have used some fresh air. Also, there was a considerable lag between our appetizer and our main course. But overall, it was a very good experience and we would happily go back.
