9.5/10Great food, great service. Lady in charge of front of house was great. As was Christophe, our waiter. Great with food allergies. Restaurant was full. Book ahead.

10/10It is a charming restaurant lovely ambiance with a great service and good food and champagne. The steak tartare very is special. We loved it.

10/10We chose the Café de la Paix for a special birthday meal during a short visit to Reims and were delighted with our choice. The menu choice was unusually varied, the quality of food was first class and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. It all made for a wonderful and memorable experience.

4.5/10Expected much more after reading previous reviews. One main course of lamb fillet was 20% sinew and inedible . Rum baba was a circular piece of dry sponge with some ratafia added but not sufficient to infuse it . Overall a disappointment.

8.5/102nd visit this year. The menu gourmand has 2 choices per course. The turbot main course is the reason we choose this menu. Well cooked. Generous portions. Well presented risotto. Cafe gourmande is included and had a very good selection of small desserts

10/10Good location. Window table next to the garden. Very good service. Menu gourmand had good choices. turbot was well cooked. generous (huge) dessert portions. Wine and coffee included in price 3rd revisit. very satisfied

10/10Excellent restaurant, fine food and service. Highly recommended for a proper dinner. Not easy to spot at street level, even though three of us were looking, but great once you have found it. Enjoy!

7.5/10As hotel restaurants go, this was a good experience. We were a group of 12 and the food was good, with patchy service. Wines were reasonable and overall it was enjoyable.

10/10Wonderful French restaurant with great food at good prices! You would never think a restaurant in a BW hotel would be a go to—but it is!!! Go to! My second time visiting!

9/10Food and service was excellent, the restaurant itself feels like a airport, waiting lounge. The maitre d lurking by the entrance to the restaurant appearing as almost a bouncer is not the most welcoming start to the meal. That said, food remaining service was good.

9/10It is very easy to feel comfortable here. The service was excellent and the food was good. My only moan would be that the menu is not as large as it used to be in the past and the wines have become very expensive. But we still found something we liked to eat and drink and enjoyed our meal very much.

10/10Excellent service, good location, outdoor dining Wine list has a good range of mid priced wines. ( burgundy from Euro 36 for example) Food was very good- langoustine and crevettes platter, Turbot for mains. 3rd visit. Happy to recommend

8/10Very good service and terrific selections of starters and entrees. The only disappointment was the fromage dessert. Cheese selection was lackluster since goat cheese was same as on my salad.

9/10My favorite part about having supper at this restaurant is the exceptional service and ambience. I had the oysters, turbot and profiteroles. Best oysters ever. Turbot was too thin but tasted great. Perhaps choosing another kind of fish would be better. And for desert... profiteroles. Just perfect! Nice wine selection. All and all I would definetely recommend this restaurant.

8/10A very good restaurant attached to the hotel so no need to go looking elsewhere. The review would have been excellent save for the allowance of dogs in the restaurant. Whilst I appreciate that this may be customary it is unnecessary and with this visit they caused a disturbance.

6/10We stayed at the hotel for two nights and tried the restaurant the first one. While the place looks nice, I was very disappointed with the food. Two examples: the shrimps were pretty bad, the saint pierre was overcooked. I would not recommend the place, even for guests of the hotel

10/10Café de la Paix has super stylish decor and the staff are excellent attentive and make you feel like a VIP. They gave personal and attentive service to all the tables around me and worked well as a team so that servIce was seemless. The menu had a good range of different dishes and some really interesting and exciting options it was difficult to choose. I had the fresh asparagus and goats cheese to start because it’s in season now and for main I had the most scrumptious skate in a beautiful butter and aromatic sauce it was the best skate I have ever had. I was too full to have dessert but the cream brûlée looked amazing- I would highly recommend for food service and atmosphere.

10/10Absolutely lovely. Had fruits de mer which were beautifully presented (on a big enough table too - so often it doesn’t fit!). Very good staff. Excellent desserts. Could have wound up the air con a little though, only criticism.

4/10Words cannot express how absolutely awful the food was here. It felt like somebody had compiled our meal out of odds and ends found in someone else’s refrigerator. My dish was completely inedible- I had to order a side of frites just so I wouldn’t go hungry. My partner’s dish came with a weird side of plain penne (instead of being integrated with the dish). When we were halfway through, we realized we hadn’t even seen the entire menu (where are the fruits de mer??). The only redeeming thing about this place was the service. Other than that, 10 out of 10 would recommend GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

10/10Cafe de la Paix is a traditional French restaurant and food, service and ambience were in the best of that tradition. The staff were welcoming and very attentive and the food was superb. Best of all for UK customers was the bill was "pris net" with "service compris"

10/10A quiet, stylish spot in the noisy mash-up of the restaurant square. The service was very attentive and elegant. The food was very good. Chef had obviously taken his/her time with making the dishes look pretty. The wine was good as well. A pleasant evening all around.
