8/10I made a reservation, reservations are very important, the food was good we had steaks and a risotto. The food was good. The service was good. The ambiance was ok, but there was a little boy running around to all the other tables which was a little annoying

6.5/10Ate here twice in one week as it was convenient, staying at the hotel. Menu is uninspiring. Dishes passable. Service depends on the person tending your table. One positive is that any meat is cooked exactly as ordered. Overall, expensive for what it is.

10/10We chose the Café de la Paix for a special birthday meal during a short visit to Reims and were delighted with our choice. The menu choice was unusually varied, the quality of food was first class and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. It all made for a wonderful and memorable experience.

4.5/10Expected much more after reading previous reviews. One main course of lamb fillet was 20% sinew and inedible . Rum baba was a circular piece of dry sponge with some ratafia added but not sufficient to infuse it . Overall a disappointment.

8.5/102nd visit this year. The menu gourmand has 2 choices per course. The turbot main course is the reason we choose this menu. Well cooked. Generous portions. Well presented risotto. Cafe gourmande is included and had a very good selection of small desserts

10/10Excellent restaurant, fine food and service. Highly recommended for a proper dinner. Not easy to spot at street level, even though three of us were looking, but great once you have found it. Enjoy!

7.5/10As hotel restaurants go, this was a good experience. We were a group of 12 and the food was good, with patchy service. Wines were reasonable and overall it was enjoyable.

9/10Food and service was excellent, the restaurant itself feels like a airport, waiting lounge. The maitre d lurking by the entrance to the restaurant appearing as almost a bouncer is not the most welcoming start to the meal. That said, food remaining service was good.

It is very easy to feel comfortable here. The service was excellent and the food was good. My only moan would be that the menu is not as large as it used to be in the past and the wines have become very expensive. But we still found something we liked to eat and drink and enjoyed our meal very much.

Excellent service, good location, outdoor dining Wine list has a good range of mid priced wines. ( burgundy from Euro 36 for example) Food was very good- langoustine and crevettes platter, Turbot for mains. 3rd visit. Happy to recommend

Very good service and terrific selections of starters and entrees. The only disappointment was the fromage dessert. Cheese selection was lackluster since goat cheese was same as on my salad.

9/10My favorite part about having supper at this restaurant is the exceptional service and ambience. I had the oysters, turbot and profiteroles. Best oysters ever. Turbot was too thin but tasted great. Perhaps choosing another kind of fish would be better. And for desert... profiteroles. Just perfect! Nice wine selection. All and all I would definetely recommend this restaurant.

8/10A very good restaurant attached to the hotel so no need to go looking elsewhere. The review would have been excellent save for the allowance of dogs in the restaurant. Whilst I appreciate that this may be customary it is unnecessary and with this visit they caused a disturbance.

6/10We stayed at the hotel for two nights and tried the restaurant the first one. While the place looks nice, I was very disappointed with the food. Two examples: the shrimps were pretty bad, the saint pierre was overcooked. I would not recommend the place, even for guests of the hotel

Café de la Paix has super stylish decor and the staff are excellent attentive and make you feel like a VIP. They gave personal and attentive service to all the tables around me and worked well as a team so that servIce was seemless. The menu had a good range of different dishes and some really interesting and exciting options it was difficult to choose. I had the fresh asparagus and goats cheese to start because it’s in season now and for main I had the most scrumptious skate in a beautiful butter and aromatic sauce it was the best skate I have ever had. I was too full to have dessert but the cream brûlée looked amazing- I would highly recommend for food service and atmosphere.

10/10Absolutely lovely. Had fruits de mer which were beautifully presented (on a big enough table too - so often it doesn’t fit!). Very good staff. Excellent desserts. Could have wound up the air con a little though, only criticism.

10/10Cafe de la Paix is a traditional French restaurant and food, service and ambience were in the best of that tradition. The staff were welcoming and very attentive and the food was superb. Best of all for UK customers was the bill was "pris net" with "service compris"
