I had a lovely dinner here. The atmosphere is relaxed in this restaurant, with approximately a dozen tables. My meal consisted of a beet soup “the perfect egg”, ceviche and a pear dessert. All were delicious. The service is attentive and friendly.

Food was great and staff very helpful. Only downside was the very cold venue. Drinks could have been made better by just going for the classic margarita version. Wine recommendation was also very good!

What a lovely, lively restaurant in the beautiful city of Lyon and what a find for our first night here. Veronica and her front of house team were warmly welcoming and Andrés‘ food was a real treat. The menu is limited, but what it lacks in variety it makes up for ten times over in flavours and quality. We loved our evening here.

A very very good restaurant, small in size but offering the highest quality food and service - in a town that “gets food”. The portions were fantastically balanced, just the right quantity yet each utterly delicious, hard to find any fault - well done. If my wife and I visit Lyon again we will be back this place is a must try!

I’m not a huge foodie but I thought I would try a couple of the Michelin restaurants while in Lyon. Canaima did not disappoint. Food was even better than I was expecting. Quaint little unassuming location with great food and good service. Small deficiency due to waitress spilling red wine on table (I think she might have been new and unaccustomed to pouring wine).

Exceptional service. Food was unparalleled with fresh ingredients and some of the most tender Octopus out there! Well deserving of a Michelin Star. A must try if in Lyon.

Food and service were superb!! The ambiance brings you back well to a delicious restaurant in Caracas and the food is an an elevated version of what you’d expect in Venezuelan cuisine. We’ll definitely come back!!

My favorite place in all lyon one of the best meals you will have with great flavors and an intresting menu that changes every so often definitely in the top 5 restaurants in lyon and the chef and owner is a wonderful guy welcoming all his guests and asking thrm how was everything 10/10 no doubt

It was great. It was actually Latin American food, rather than French food with a Latin American twist (which is more what our typical experience in Lyon has been of ethnic restaurants.). The owners were lovely and the atmosphere was charming and cozy. Thank you!

Very thoughtful and refined presentations. Interesting flavour combinations. Beautiful executions. We had the artichoke arepa, bacon wrapped sous vide beef, and corn cachapa. We enjoyed it all. Good cocktails to start (appreciate the paper straw). Lovely service too. Thanks for the very nice experience.

Excellent food and excellent service. Its small and cozy restaurant and the food was the perfect fusion of french cuisine and Venezuelan cuisine. Don't go expecting traditional Venezuelan food because that is not what this is but it had the perfect balance of flavors from both styles. We ordered everything from the menu and it was all delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well and we left full.

A perfect evening! Food was great and the staff was fantastic! I would recommend. We came at 19:00 and were the first. The place filled at around 20:00 - recommended time to come.

Wonderful restaurant! Meticulous and special food in new flavors that I have not yet tasted. The menu is only in French. Thanks to us being tourists, the chef himself translated the menu for us and helped us choose dishes. Personal and amazing service with lots of attention. warmly recommended
