10/10We had the most amazing dinner at Carbon tonight! We were celebrating a birthday and our maitre d’, Isabella, went above and beyond to make our evening special. The food was absolutely delicious, staff amazing, and just the most enjoyable experience I have had at a restaurant! Thank you, Carbon and Isabella, for a wonderful evening!

8/10Really nice setting and service. Food was way too greasy though. My spinach salad was swimming in oily dressing and was super salty. Cesar salad had more cheese than greens. French onion soup was creamy too... didn't expect that at all! But mushroom soup and burger were quite delicious

Very cozy and well appointed dining room. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Food was very good across the eight of us and we all enjoyed our meals very much.

10/10This restaurant was an absolute delight! From the warm welcoming to the attentive service. The staff's kindness and charm made the experience amazing, special mention the Spanish guy in the door and the waiter who was with us. We enjoyed some incredible Spanish croquettes and a deliciously cooked chicken— both dishes were full of authentic flavor and prepared with so much care. A cozy spot with amazing food and wonderful people. We can't wait to return!

8/10Whist it was a set Menu for Christmas Eve, the dishes were inventive ideas, but not the nicest. We also accept that fine dining is usually smaller in size but at the price paid, it was insufficient and lacked value.

2/10Arrived 1 minute before restaurant opened. Doors were open but staff asked us to go back out and wait in the lobby for 1 minute before they would let us in. Then informed us that it was a set menu (New Year’s Day, NOT Eve), even though the booking confirmation specifically stated “this booking does not include either discounts or set menus”.

6.5/10This was our final night in Zermatt, and we were looking for something special to top the other restaurants we visited during our stay. We settled on Carbon Zermatt because it was my mother-in-law’s birthday and we were looking for something a little upscale. Sadly we were disappointed, and the average comment from everyone at the table was, “I’m not impressed”. To start, the food was not terrible, it was simply just ok. And for the price, it was a little less than ok. The real disappointment was the strange service. Compared to every restaurant we have visited in this vacation, including Zurich, St. Moritz, and Zermatt, the service here was the lacking. This was the only restaurant in our Switzerland tour where we did not feel welcome. We arrived 10 minutes early, and when we mentioned we were a bit early, he called out that we were exactly ten minutes early. Then without further word he grabbed menus and showed us to our table. We asked about the wines and he gave us a wine
