The views and few of the courses were excellent, others also very good. The service coughed a bit in the beginning (probably because of the language barrier), but other than that everything went smoothly and we had a great afternoon.

The food and the service were as splendid as the view of Lyon as the sun was setting. I enjoyed every bite of all six courses, with the amuse bouches and pre and post desserts. The wine pairings were excellent. A meal well worth its cost.

10/10The staff were superb. Watching the team in action was like watching a well choreographed play. The gastranomique experience was well paced, and the flavors were perfectly balanced in terms of richness and lightness. The sommelier was very quick on his feet and his knowledge of the cellar was impressive.

10/10Plates were delicious and beautifully presented. There were surprisingly many amuse bouche. Stand out dishes were the stuffed morel mushrooms, the pigeon and strawberry dessert. Our sommelier was wonderful, warm and knowledgeable. Appreciate that staff were conversant in English.

For starters, the view and ambiance is amazing! We enjoyed the chef’s extras as well as the four services menu. All of the food was very good, but my favorites were the white asparagus with caviar and the dessert, strawberry Mara des bois. It was a wonderful experience!

7.5/10Some dishes like the foie gras and the pigeon were very special. Others like the green asparagus were not remarkable. Disappointed by the service with a lot of interruptions in the middle of toast and reaching out for plates when I was appreciating the wine. We are in France , why would we get a US type of service?

10/10I had heard that the service was rushed. So I simply said that we did not want that to happen, and cited what I had heard. Our waiter then asked every single time if we were ready to proceed. I guess people don’t think to ask, and then complain. Not the restaurant’s problem. Theirs. Food impeccable, as is the setting. The sommelier is really responsive and knowledgeable and is pushing nothing. So…. Perfect.

+3This is clearly one of the finest restaurants in town. The views of the city are incredible. Of course, the menu is unusual if you are not local, but it’s worth the experience. Recommend.

The food and presentation was excellent as were the wine pairings. My only complaint is each course came out too fast. In some cases I was still working on the previous wine pairing when the next course arrived and in one case before the new wine pairing was poured. I asked for a 15 minute break before the cheese course and 10 minutes later the cheese was there.

4.5/10To be honest we felt cheated. We order a dish where the price range was stated as between 90€ to 200€. We emphasized that we want only a small portion the smallest and we pointed to the 90€. The waiter said no problem. When the portion came it was HUGE - before we ate we confirmed again of this was the smallest portion at 90€. The server/ carver said he would check with the chef and came back to confirm that it was. I acknowledge because we were English Speaking there may have been a miscommunication. But the manager who came to help us insisted rather rudely that the price was non negotiable. We asked that since it was a miscommunication- if she would consider a small discount - even 10%. She flatly refused. We believe her name was Catalina. She NEVER once apologised but the staff around were apologetic. I feel if the manager restaurant can see that they had some part to play in it - they should have offered a small discount - 20€ - it isn’t much but it would have spoken volumes.

The food is definitely at 1 står michelin level. To me it lacked just a tiny bit of acidity, but the courses were classic and solid. The sauces were spectacular as well the cheese selection! Wine they have a huge list, the bottle I bought I think was good price for good quality! There are also some many small details that can be improved but I don't wanna be the one that is considered the picky one! Good jobb by all the stuff! Will be back!

6.5/10The wait staff were all very friendly but seemed pretty new and inexperienced. The overall experience didn’t feel worthy of a Michelin star (chipped glassware, mistakes in service, metal pellets in the duck - which we were told was a sign of quality? Perhaps but no warning was problematic).

6.5/10Excellent location. But: Why forget the 3. wine in a simple pairing? Why let us wait for the dessert? Why not be able to tell us the ingrediens when asked? And why serve a very good- but to much dessert? Finaly- We hope the pigeon-dish improves. #hopedformore

2/10This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, I often eat at Michelin restaurants and rarely ever leave any negative feedback. The ratings of this restaurant are much higher (which we didn’t realise before we booked) as it includes the bistro and rooftop in the same location. The food was bland, lacked creativity (foam in most dishes) and portions were small considering we had the 6 course tasting menu for 144€ per person. Very rude service after I requested nicely if it was possible to be seated at a different table (in a completely empty dining room at 7.30pm when they had just opened) due to having air con blasted on top of me. The manager came and actually shouted NO in my face and left, before I could even finish my sentence. The remaining servers were very cold, we didn’t feel welcome and they didn’t even refill the water, we had to ask after waiting over 10 min each time. I don’t know if it’s because we spoke English or because we are young, it was a horrible experience.

9/10Excellent restaurant with great views . Food was nice overall and so was service. We have the chef special dish of lobster and calf head which was excellent. The chicken dish in the main course was nice but we found the texture of the chicken a bit chewy which we thght shldnt have happened at a restaurant of its stature

+4The restaurant has a wonderful view of Lyon and overall the atmosphere and service was excellent. The food made us wish for more - everything was ok, but none of the dishes have remained in our memory as something outstanding, neither in terms of taste, nor uniqueness, nor presentation.

During my recent visit to Restaurant Gastronomique Christian Tetedoie, I had an overall mixed experience that left me somewhat disappointed. While the restaurant boasts a stunning view and an upscale ambiance, there were several aspects that fell short of my expectations. Upon arrival, my party and I were led to a corner table with a limited view, despite there being plenty of other tables that offered better views. However, when we requested a table with a view, the hostess accommodated our request and relocated us promptly. Moving on to the food, I ordered the Jaune d'oeuf confit, puntarelle, citron jaune. Unfortunately, the egg white on the bottom of the dish was dense and had a poorly textured consistency, which detracted from the overall enjoyment. The flavor combination was promising, but the execution didn't quite live up to expectations. For my main dish, I opted for the scallop. Regrettably, the scallop was grainy in texture and overly salted, which masked the delicate flavors of the seafood. It was a letdown considering the reputation of the restaurant and the expectations I had for a gastronomic experience. Another notable issue was the service. There were long intervals between the arrival of the first dessert and the second dessert, which disrupted the flow of the meal and left us waiting for an extended period. Additionally, after requesting the check, nobody brought it to our table or informed us of the payment methods available. We had to endure another long wait before the waiter finally informed us that we could settle the payment at the reception on our way out. Despite these shortcomings, it's important to note that the ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and the view was indeed remarkable. The staff, although lacking in attentiveness and promptness at times, remained polite and professional throughout the evening.

9/10When we asked for a recommendation one of the waiters just repeated the menu to us. Also, they were too fast while explaining the dishes with a heavy French accent. We loved everyone else. Dessert was sublime.
