Booked a table for my wife’s birthday. This did not go unnoticed. The staff made a point of congratulating her and even presented us with a small gift to take home and enjoy. The food was excellent and the service immaculate. We ended the evening in front of the fireplace with a complimentary drink. All in all a we had wonderful evening and will definitely return.

We had very good experience. The food was super tasty, staff is very nice and makes you feel welcome. The ambient is traditional, but with a warm touch. Highly recommend. ✨

This is absolutely a pearl of a restaurant in the eastern part of The Netherlands. The food is perfect; incredibly high quality, but also decent portions. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant itself is charming: old fashioned in style, but cosy and well appointed.

The services rendered were satisfactory. The staff was very kind and informative about the dishes served, their wine was really good. English is spoken as well for those who can’t speak Dutch. I would recommend this place especially if you wanna propose because I thought he would propose but sadly I am still on probation

We enjoy trying fine dining restaurants on our travels and De Watermolen is a real gem. The staff were welcoming and provided professional and friendly service with every one of them doing their best to explain options to us in English. We chose the 3 course gourmet menu and were pleased to get tasty amuse bouche, delicious bread and butter as part of the meal. Each of the courses was better than the one before and in our minds the dessert was the best. It was beautifully presented, had a range of different flavors that were quite strong but which paired very well with the creamy mousse. It was not too sweet and was refreshing. I will definitely go back if I am in the area again.

The chefs surprise dinner is always a good option especially with the accompanying wine arrangement, the oysters were amazing, fresh, great texture and as usual the service was friendly, correct and attentive.
