7/10Wonderful setting, excellent service but for 150E tasting menu, it was underwhelming. Some dishes too salty, some meat overcooked (pork belly) and nothing was unique, inventive, or impressive. Staff was wonderful and the view and ambience cannot be beat.

10/10Upon entering the outdoor seating area, your senses are immediately enveloped by the sweet smell of flowering trees. A visual contentment follows as light dances on the blue lake beyond your table. Be prepared for the thoughtful, perfectly served dishes as your tastebuds savor each morsel and sip. Our group left with plans for many returns.

9/10We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with traditional cooking based on fresh ingredients well prepared and beautifully served. Taking in local produce the flavours were outstanding and reflected the long history and solid structure of the surroundings. Highly recommended.

5.5/10From excellent duck fillet, perfectly cooked, to good starters but too small and really too cold for the current weather to disappointing service. not a good value for money, even less on a supposed American Express "tous au restaurant" promo. We have been customer of the hotel and the restaurant for almost twenty years now. the place and the atmosphere remain exceptional, but I would suggest you revisit your approach of a "tous au restaurant" initiative.

8.5/10Very good food in a an amazing setting. Incredibly romantic. Food dishes were hit and miss. Seems like at times they were trying to be too complex. Attentive wait staff but difficult time getting the check.

8.5/10Beautiful setting and very good food. An excellent combination! Only suggestion would be to note raw dishes - my parents had a few unpleasant surprises from the market menu.

9.5/10An old favourite of ours, we naturally chose l'Abbaye (birthdays, anniversaries), for our wedding anniversary dinner with family. The setting is just woderful on the lovely terrace in the gardens ovelooking the lake. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. A perfect summer evening!
