Everyone unanimously enjoyed their dishes, the food was 10/10. Great wine recommendations and very friendly service. We were given a more private table because the booking was for an event, and this was much appreciated. Ambience was lovely.

Outstanding food! What a refreshing approach to French food. Sophisticated, yet down-to-earth. And the service was exceptionally friendly, helpful and prompt. Janine is now among my very top choices in Paris!

Modern traditional French cuisine! Had my favourite beef tartare ever

We had one pprk and one vegetarian dishes as main courses, while the pork was great, the vegetarian was uneatable - salty, undercooked chikpeas and nothing assembled together in a way that makes sense. The service was poor, we were charged of this dish but werent asked if we would like something else instead, although the waiter said he will check with the kitchen for a substitute.

From the service to the food…everything was amazing! Able to talk to the Chef and congratulate him and all the team on the amazing job.

This is the best hidden gem in Paris. The restaurant is cozy and friendly even to non-French speakers. The food is divine, all starters and main dishes we ordered were beyond great. We will definitely come back in our future Paris trips. Thank you for having us.

This was a nice dining experience with dishes rooted in the french tradition. Good portions on the mains, overall it was good but not the best meal we've had in Paris within this price range in the 17th. That said, it was a very pleasant evening with good food. Reservations are essential!

Restaurant Janine is absolutely wonderful. The room is comfortable, the food delicious and the service welcoming and kind. It is well worth the trip from the center of Paris. It should not be missed.

Read about this little restaurant in the New York Times. The food was amazing and we were greeted by the owner. My husband commented that this was the best duck he ever had so he was invited back in the kitchen to advise the chef of that. A wonderful experience!

An absolutely wonderful experience, my top places in Paris when it comes to meet and desert! And vegetarian dish was wonderful too. I will definitely come back.

Here in France for 2 weeks and had many great dining experiences, but Restaurant Janine was our favorite. Great food and exceptional service. The owner is wonderful….friendly with a big smile…..even on a Monday night. This is first the restaurant we will recommend to all our friends.

Had an excellent evening here. The food was delicious—loved the rabbit starter—beautiful and delicious. Also had the terrine, the lamb, the duck. All excellent. All I would describe as wonderful comfort food—which is what we we wanting. We were recommended a nice wine from Alsace. Friendly and attentive service.

This is a wonderful dining experience that hits all the right notes. Creative and large menu, excellent service and comfortable atmosphere. Very welcoming hospitality. We were a party of six, and tasted many of the items on the menu; tuna, rabbit, duck, lamb and cod. All the food was excellent and exceeded our expectations in creativity and presentation. A very large wine list shows how much these owners really care.

The Batignolles was a great surprise discovery but Restaurant Janine was the best part of it. With a small parklet outside and a warm, uncrowded interior and beautiful zinc this looked promising. When the food began to arrive, each mouthful was more sensuous and exquisite than the last. Small but well thought-out list of wine by the glass was the perfect accompaniment. Dessert was beyond amazing. We walked out on a cloud. Restaurant Janine will become a regular stop in Paris.

This restaurant was the perfect example of a modern Parisian Bistro. Simple, amazing food. Staff was very kind and accommodating.

This place is just prefect. If you want a true neighborhood Parisian experience this is your spot. The owner is a great guy; super attentive and very funny. Ambience is comfortable and quaint with good outdoor options as well. Fantastic wine list. The food is high quality French. Not to miss!

A friend recommended this restaurant while we visited Paris. The food was excellent and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We had such a wonderful experience that we went back a second time to try other items on the menu. Highly recommend.

The staff welcomes you like you are family. Food is creative, delicious and very well executed. The restaurant is located In a lively and fun neighborhood off the beaten track. A great find!

Expensive, not worth the price at all (220 € for 3 people). Wrote a detailed review in trip advisor and google. All the food is precooked and cold. Even the bread is substandard, no dip or butter served. Because all the food is precooked and standing on the counter , it came immediately and we were done eating in 40 minutes including dessert in a French restaurant!!! The food is not terrible, but certainly not wow. We had waited all day for a meal that was supposed to be a culinary experience. Far from that! Don't go there! I warned you.

What a gem! Our trip wouldn't have been complete without this find. The staff and food was superb. Very highly recommend. Who new that 6 oysters and 1 ravioli could be so mind blowing! We ordered almost everything on the menu and NOTHING disappointed. Only left us wishing we didn't live a world away! Thank you so much Chez Janine!!!
