8/10I have been here many times, with my wife, my daughter. It has always been excellent. I was in Amsterdam on business and decided to try it alone. I ordered the 5 course tasting menu with wine. I did not get my first course for 20 minutes, and the service was slow over 3 hours. Bread was only offered after the 3rd course and was stale. The matching wines was 2 of the same for 2 different courses. I asked and the waiter didn’t know. The food itself was fine, especially the venison done 4 ways. The space is warm and pleasant. The service was unacceptable and not up to their usual standard. When brought to their attention, they smiles and said they were busy and had “a new computer”. Many restaurants of this level would have apologized, clearly stated it was unacceptable and offered me a drink or small dish on the house. It didn’t seem to cross their mind. I still tipped and may come back. However, I will be carefully reading reviews to see if this very poor service was an exception or is being repeated. I would be interested in other comments on this.

10/10We had previously eaten here recently and wondered if it were possible to have our previous experience topped (which seemed very unlikely as our previous evening was OUTSTANDING). Lo and behold we were wrong our 2nd evening was even better than the first. Best overall dining experience we’ve ever had. Go with the 4-7 course meal and pairings!!! You’ll be amazed. We’re considering come back to Amsterdam just to dine here on another occasion

10/10This was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was prompt, fast and you were never left waiting., yet we weren’t rushed. The food was outstanding! If you are in for an night of food, wine and service experience this is the place to go!

10/10Wonderful tasting menu and wine pairing. I would not have chosen the wines we had, it was nice to try something different. We sat outside and it was an amazing night. The wait staff was very attentive.

4/10I was rather tired after a long flight and was excited to try this restaurant. The service made me uncomfortable from the beginning. I was told straight out i am not allowed to keep my coat with me, even though it was a light trench coat. I asked for a wine list and they did not have a list with prices for wine by the glass, and they would not serve any tap water, only paid bottled water. It was very long until i finally got the menu, and then I ordered from the one young waiter. About 15 mins later the older man asked me if i ordered and what I ordered because they have to put it in the system... that means my food was never ordered. I saw other new tables come in get seated, order and get their first courses and I was still waiting. 45 mins later, a full hour after sitting down i finally got my starter and unfortunately the shrimp was so undercooked it was not possible to eat. I cancelled my main order as I was too tired to wait anymore, this was not received well and told that it was already made, which doesn't make sense as they literally at this point only just gave me my starter. I was given the full bill, no understanding, apologies or deductions to my bill. This was disappointing and really bad service. I am sorry i did not really get to taste the food and I blame bad service and attitude.

4/10The food was an average quality and not very innovative. You expect much more from the Michelin restaurant. The time between the meals (six course dinner) was too long, from 20 to 30 minutes. Nice place otherwise.

10/10With a perfect location in the middle of the city centre and as two locals we decided to try this restaurant. There was a warm welcome when we entered the restaurant first of all. The way that they designed the entrance also let you feel very welcome. The menu was limited so that only tells me that they serve fresh food. The food itself was super nice organised on the plates. The waiter explained with every dish what we got. Between all the dishes there were tiny bites given to us. Well made, beautiful. Delicious. The main plates with food were super. The meet was nice and tender. The smoked salmon was amazing. It is a very chique restaurant, though the waiter was so nice that he made us feel very comfortable. We have made another reservation with two friend already.

4/10A very bad meal,particularly ruined by the extremely slow service,when having a tasting menu you cannot have 40 minute gaps between courses,it ruins it! The First course was supposed to be a sushi dish,but a lump of raw fish surrounded by creamy emulsions was awful! Second course which was salsify with a jus was mediocre,Third course was sea bream which was beautifully cooked but was accompanied by mashed potatoes and almonds which didn’t work at all.Fourth course was venison which was good,very tender with a good gamey flavour,the only nice course! Fifth course was a dull mushy dessert. All in all a very bad meal.

10/10This restaurant was outstanding in every way. The room is beautifully appointed and very calming. The service was impeccable. The staff was generous of spirt and completely professional. Even when our daughter ordered a desert as her main course. The food is the real star at the restaurant. The first few starters that the restaurant provided were absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. We thought about ordering the surprise chef’s menu, it is the best value economically, but we had our hearts set on dishes listed on the menu. The smoked salmon starter was freshly smoked and delivered to the table under glass, when the lid was removed the scent was heavenly. The lamb was also incredible. It was prepared three different ways. Every bit was perfect and the lamb stew served over preferably roasted eggplant was an unexpected delight. Our daughter had two desserts but we were too happily full that we passed on the last course

8/10Although the staff seems to be a new team, the usual pleasant professionalism is maintained. We had the 4-course surprise menu - corvina, a variety of onion preparations, three different kinds of beef dishes, pineapple and brownie dessert plus a cheese course, three amuses and an ice cream pre-dessert. All were delicious and of a high standard. (The onion second course was surprisingly good.)
