The food was delicious, especially the monkfish and the paté. Atmosphere was great.

The food was excellent, Lapin (rabbit) à la moutarde, créme brûlée de foie gras, and tablette chocolat avec mousse pistache. Nothing particularly warm regarding the service or ambience, but professional and perfunctory.

The weather was wonderful for an outdoor Sunday dinner, and we loved the gorgeous patio. Our amuse bouche was a delicious and unexpected foie gras custard which set the scene for the foie gras entree and the delicious plats we consumed. No dessert as husband is gluten free and we were thoroughly delighted by our two courses. This was an unforgettable experience in our Provence adventure.

Very upscale setting that adjoins a small hotel. Lovely ambiance on the outside patio. Good local wine selection and very friendly staff. Well worth the visit.

Delightful spot and returned within the week for a second evening meal. The outdoor patio is open now and quite nice. Everyone there is helpful and if you do not speak french the staff is great at bridging the gap.

Not sure what all the rave reviews are about. We’ve been to the Luberon for the past 4 years and this was definitely one of our least favorite meals. The beef and the fish were almost tasteless and the desserts tasted like they were store bought. The service was officious but not particularly warm or friendly. Also the atmosphere is not very welcoming; inside is dark, with everything in shades of grey, and black bathrooms (c’mon, this is sunny Provence- not NYC). The outside feels a bit bare with all the rock walls- would be lovely with colorful flowers to brighten it up. This restaurant was Definitely a disappointment for us in a valley full of otherwise wonderful choices.
Restaurant Le C by CarcarilleNot sure your comment is really true ! Talking about the Filet of beef with mushroom sauce served for 50th years without any taste make me feel doubtful... And you should really open your eyes for the outside because flowers are everywhere on every windows almost on each table with small Olive trees so I confirm to you that NYC is really far away from Gordes !

We enjoyed our dinner at Le C enough to eat their twice during our one week stay in Gordes. The outdoor dining is open and delightful. Our meals were fabulous. All the wait staff are helpful and engaged.

Food was expensive for what it was. Almost michelin star price but definitely not anywhere near as good. Would not return!
Restaurant Le C by CarcarilleMany thanks for feed back but really difficult to understand what you mean by "food expensive" : we use only noble products home cooked and our first menu for lunch is 27 € and 45 € for dinner time... with Langoustine, Filet of Beef, Sea Bass, Duck foie gras.... I brougth the bill to you and I asked if you've appreciated your meal and you told me "yes" so much better to discus if something wrong... instead of writing without any dialog !

Upscale experience in a cozy setting. Food was wonderful. Wine selection is very regional, which is what I was looking for. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish the setting was more up on a hill with a better view of the valley around Gorde. Otherwise a very charming and elegant experience.

Nice setting on a clear Provençal evening - easy parking Had to wait about 20 minutes to be served and really not enough staff for number of tables but maitre dit got it together and the meal was very nice Not cheap for a formula meal compared to other places -about 100 euros for 2 with just a glass of wine each

We LOVED the restaurant. We both had a menu option for dinner with starter, main, cheese (never to be missed in France) and dessert. Foie gras (starter) and beef with morilles sauce and venison (mains we chose) were perfect. The epoisse cheese was wonderfully "affiné". It's really worth it. The only suggestion: signs indicating the way to the restaurant from the parking area. It took us some time to get to the right door.
