Fries were great. Spekkoek Mousse Brusseloise was very nice. Jasmine tea and a espresso martini. midway our dining we were interupted by the owner. we were to expend more or they would list us as a no show. removing our yums code. i was meeting a new client who offered to pay. so he immediatly refused to comply. i never want to have my customers adressed to order and eat more again. thefork staff was on my side on this. we cannot be forced to eat additional courses.
Restaurant LoofHet restaurant wil deze recensie graag rechtzetten. Deze gast heeft het restaurant vier keer bezocht via TheFork, waarbij hij bij drie bezoeken alleen één drankje bestelde en vertrok zonder te dineren. Zo spaarde hij (dubbele) Yums, terwijl het restaurant per gereserveerde gast kosten aan TheFork betaalt. Dit is niet waarvoor het Yums-programma bedoeld is. Het gesprek tijdens het laatste bezoek vond plaats voordat zijn gast arriveerde, op een rustige en respectvolle manier. De gast gaf zelf aan dat hij niet wist dat het restaurant per persoon kosten betaalt. Dit is ook de reden dat hij dit keer wél een frietje en een nagerecht heeft besteld. Daarnaast klopt de bewering dat de kaart niet zou zijn veranderd niet: eind vorig jaar is de kaart aangepast met meerdere nieuwe gerechten. Het restaurant verwelkomt graag gasten die oprecht willen genieten, maar misbruik van reserveringssystemen wordt niet geaccepteerd. Deze gast wordt vriendelijk verzocht in de toekomst andere restaurants te bezoeken.

excellent service, friendly staff. nice location. the menu was unchanged so i did not opt for the same as last time. I tried something new the Espresso Loof tonic. I was really looking forward to this thinking what a perfect shot espresso would be needed to compliment bitter tonic. it was simple machine button dark roast. it tasted ashy and like preground old beans. coffee from a can is better. the tonic made it worse. what a shame of a very unique potential. i will do this better myself to explore my new fascination.

excellent location. suitable terrace with less preferable seats. waiters seemed to dodge service and were busy eating, smoking and attending their phones. one waiter of perfect charisma was an absolute exception on all these fronts. food is very standard, presented simple with a bland taste and chewy entrecote. tournedos was good but bland and simple. drinks were flat from a big b brand bottle. desserts were an exception! perfect chocolate mouse and indonesion cake. nice presentation and good flavour.

The food was delicious! The only complaint is that we ordered and the food took about 40 min to be served. It was indeed very busy around 13-14:00, then it was calm and then we could enjoy much more. Because of the delay we got offered a tea at the end which we thought it was a very nice gesture. The food was great, very high quality price ratio.

Sitting on the teras was very nice. The service is very good. Being a teras people can smoke so if you are not a smoker might be a bit unplesant. Nevertheless the food was nice. For a dinner on the teras we recomand the restaurant.

Super nice salads and food. Just do not order the soups since they were very disappointing. The atmosphere is nice but we got a group of 10 loud old women, so it was a bit more noisy.

Was recommended this restaurant and it definitely did not disappoint. From the moment we got there we weee made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A very special thank you to Ebru who served us, who went above and beyond. The food we had was absolutely gorgeous

We were glad to discover this restaurant. We had lunch along with cocktails. I would say the cocktails were the best. One must try once along with the great food.

The food was ok, but it smelled there funny and the 30% discount for which we booked was not honored at the end.

Stunningly bad service. The manager asked us to move tables half way through dinner. When we complained while we were leaving he argued back, making a scene. Dreadful.

We visited at lunchtime and the restaurant was busy. Servers were friendly and helpful. We had a bottle of wine, oysters, gamba stew, and burger. All were very good and brought in a leisurely fashion. We would return for a very relaxing lunch here!

Great place to be. Nice service and good food. Even better beer. Time was flying because of a nice atmosphere. For sure we will visit again! We often go out for diner in Utrecht and this place is currently in our top 3 to be.

Wonderful experience. We reserved through the fork on the night itself, and we received a very warm welcome. Although the place was packed, we were served right away. Exquisite food and wines as well! The way they took care of us (and my nut allergy) was a delight. Merci, dankjewel and will definitely come back.

It is a nice and cosy place, but quite small. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Altough the beginning of the evening was a bit chaotic, due to more tables coming in at the same time, the rest of the eveing went very smoothly. We were very surprised with the food. It was very delicious and beautifully plated, good portions. We had a 3 course diner and we enjoyed everything. We definitely recommend to try the starter with goatcheese and all the mains grilled on the Green Egg. We also got good wine recommendations for our dishes.

They have forgot our request, the terrace was full but they don´t have excuss, even the drinks they forgot, we were asked to repeat everything because they have lost ours...

We've been to this restaurant before. They changed the menu a bit (before you could choose a main of vegetables/meat/fish with a condiment like fries which you had to pay extra for, now it's a whole plate mainly). That's why the prices have gone up a bit I assume. Nevertheless it's a very nice informal restaurant next to the Dom, we keep coming back because of the wide variety of choices of beautiful looking tasty dishes, the good wines and the friendly staff.

Good restaurant with a lot of options available. We went on a Wednesday and it was super calm, with just a few tables occupied which was perfect for a romantic dinner. Also, I liked the idea of having different options and each option being related to a specific country.
