Visiting anywhere alone, trends to get you looks.... heaven forbid you wish to eat in a nice restaurant. This place was fab, I felt relaxed and welcomed. Great service and lovely food.

We were looking for a quiet comfortable restaurant with affordable prices. THIS was the best place because it is near the Artis Zoo in quiet neighbourhood. Food was excellent and large portions (to split if needed). Waitress was super helpful and chatted with us about Amsterdam. We will definitely return!

Sydney was such a nice and welcoming waitress! She made us feel right at home. My son wanted “steak and carrots” and that’s exactly what he got and it was pleasantly dished even so he felt fancy! And the salmon bowl was ok.. I wasn’t a huge fan but it was good! Maybe too much sauce for me. Sydney went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of, which made the experience worth it for me!! The chocolate cake is a bit dry... but again beautifully plated.

Nachos were a bowel of hot chips lacked cheese and salsa. Tuna overdone with a bland sauce, deserts bought in and were average. If it hadn’t been for the one waitress busting her butt we would have left. She deserves a wage rise! The rest i’d replace.

Great service, food was very ordinary. We had the shrimp cocktail as a starter, it had no taste. I had the duck and my husband the lamb. Although the meat was of good quality the side dishes had no taste and the sauces were rather strange. The deserts however were fantastic! We had a carrot cake and a cheese cake - both were to die for!
