10/10Such a great find. Lovely small restaurant serving great food. The carpaccio melted in the mouth, the seared tuna was some of the best my husband has ever eaten, an my calf’s liver was beautifully cooked, tender with a sublime sauce. The service was attentive and personable. Highly recommended

10/10Excellent courgette soup followed by ribeye and duck. The first serving of duck was too tough but the chef immediately cooked a new serving which was perfect. 10/10 for service!

7/10Friendly service, be it a bit slow in the beginning. Good quality food, but all dishes come with the same sides, showing little imagination to combine flavours.

10/10This place was a fantastic find! Amazing food and top service from all of the staff. I had the steak and it was perfection( but so was the rest of the meal). Couldn’t recommend this place more to anyone visiting Haarlem.

10/10Surprising but delicious mix of quality components for the courses: creating a playful symphony of tastes in one's mouth. Great price to such food quality. Fast and attentive service. Would gladly visit the place on another occasion.

10/10This was a great find. Limited menu which is sensible in a small restaurant but the food was delicious and a bit different. Service was excellent with the chef explaining each dish. Reasonably priced for a great eating experience.

9/10The meal itself (for 7) was excellent. The price was rather high compared with other restaurants of high quality nearby, and while the service was friendly, efficient and good-humoured, less appreciated were that expensive wines and bottled water were rather pushed on us, without disclosing the price or waiting for us to consult the wine menu.

9/10I liked the service especially, they are really responsive and nice. I like the starters very much, main course is good and the desserts I ordered a trio Sorbet, but I liked 2 flavours and I didnt like the citroen Sorbet. Again, its just my opinion but the rest of the things are wonderful.

The staff was friendly and the chef came up to us and explained the elements on the dinner plate - as they use fresh ingredients of the day to create the flavour pairing with the protein. The surprise desert plate was yum! Overall we had great evening and enjoyed our visit.

10/10Our dining experience was simply outstanding. The staff were very friendly, courteous and attentive. Although the vegan options were limited, each dish was amazing and the chef kindly made vegan adjustments where possible (Bird’s Nest). The salmon preparation and presentation was superb. The chef was so nice and explains the ingredients and preparation of our entrees. We highly recommend choosing this when in Haarlem (it’s also close to Frans Hals museum and St. Bavos.

9.5/10Humble giant. The place is small and the kitchen even smaller yet the food competes and surpasses multitudes of Michelin star places. It is sublime. If you are looking to enjoy food the way it made to be enjoyed this is the spot.

10/10Booked this based on a high rating and they totally deserve it! Food was excellent. Zucchini soup was terrific and the stuffed pork loin was the best I’ve ever had. Service was lovely and the chef himself brought our dishes and explained ingredients. Highly recommend.

5.5/10I've never seen a smaller, thinner and poorly cooked ribeye steak in my whole life. On top of that the taste was sub-average. The quality is poor for the price you pay. I do not recommend this place.

10/10Our dining experience in Subliem was fantastic from start to finish. By far the best meal we had in the Netherlands during our stay. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was super. Marcell was very welcoming as out host. A visit to this restaurant is a must. We will be back on our next visit!

10/10Great ambiance, delicious food, very friendly and professional staff (kept an eye on our wine glasses, remembered who ordered what, etc.). Bathrooms were clean. My dietary restrictions were not an issue. Will gladly come back!

7.5/10Excellent waiter, best man. Quick, attentive and polite. Very professional. Good food but not worth the price tag. It tastes good but I had better food for halve the price at other places. Makes me wonder why it's so expensive... Wasn't a disappointment but I expected more based on the reviews. More flashy than actual taste.
