We absolutely love this restaurant. We have been dining there regularly for two years. Gheorghe Zgardan is an enormously talented chef, a virtuoso of delicate flavouring. Alejandra Bahuón is simply superb, and runs her front of house team with immaculate precision, but also a wonderful sense of warmth and engagement. I wanted to leave a review of an outstanding evening we enjoyed on New Year's Eve. The kitchen did spectacularly well throughout; there wasn't a single glitch; only particularly well-flavoured, delicious food. The lobster with fermented garlic was perfectly cooked. The seabass with caviar was wonderfully refreshing, the tang of the citrus drawing out (rather than overwhelming) the delicate flavour of the fish. The duck and seabream were both excellent; complementary dishes, but entirely different experiences in terms of texture and flavour. We could have eaten a full tray of the basil and strawberry granita! I could not recommend this wonderful venue more highly. Enjoy!

Ambiance was beautiful, a gorgeous garden patio. The food was great, especially the mushroom paella! Service was very attentive until it came time to get the bill, which I’ve noticed a lot lately. Maybe it’s a thing, but I think they should come around to ask if we need anything else without too much time passing! Otherwise a wonderful experience!

Outside terrace is really nice and is quite romantic after dark with great lighting. We got concerned after being served an odd hard toast as a bread but after that food got progressively better. Service is a bit rushed. Despite nearly all the customers at the restaurant using English, staff’s English skills are hit or miss and you will be better off speaking some Spanish to get what you want. Dishes were really good, great flavor and presentation. Do not get a dry martini, the only good part of it were the olives… for €20! Dessert was devine, we had baba rum… wow. Overall, good value with good food and passable service.

Other than seeing some reviews online I didn’t really know what to expect. We were totally blown away by the service, the menu choices, and the quality of food. We couldn’t fault anything except maybe the weather which was a little too cool to eat outside.

Selected restaurant based on other reviews and was not disappointed! I was there for a business dinner while in Barcelona for a conference. What a refreshing experience after being in crowds all day.

Place stark in its simplicity. Service staff was I suspect learning. Food was outstanding, wine excellent all served promptly without fuss. Also very reasonable price for the quality of ingrediants.
