The food and the service were really good, but we left the restaurant with the smell on our clothes, needs a bit more attention on that detail. Apart from that, super!

10/10This place was wonderful! We have always wanted to try it and finally did and it has been added to our list of favourite places in Tomar. The food was ontstanding. Our steak was to die for and the dessert was from another world, not to mention the house sangria. We had a great night and will be back. Oh and will be recommending it to all our friends who come visit!

+8from the moment I entered the restaurant I was enchanted by the staff. The menu is like a story book, it made wonderful reading with a perfect amount of humour. The food was perfectly cooked, presenter and tasted divine. thanks for the experience

10/10If you're on a diet, this place is worth breaking it. 😉 High quality meat (tip: if you have entrecote without any sauce, they'll sear it with a flamethrower, which highlights the rosemary seasoning), great ambience, and premium service from the owner. Minor improvement: get some Velcro to keep the bench cushions in place (the owner will know to whom to forward this suggestion 😁).

10/10Restaurante O Costume is a great steakhouse. The steaks were some of the best we have had since living in Portugal. The owner is passionate about quality. He is also kind and has a great sense of humor. We highly recommend this restaurant when in Tomar.

10/10I have been here 2 nites in a row. Had the scotch steak with peppercorn sauce and the special flaked potatoes. Fabulous nice selection of regional wines The 2nd nite I had the tenderloin (rare) with the peppercorn sauce. The steak was 2 inches thick and I swear you could cut it with a spoon. The best part was the owner Diogo and his staff. Fluent English, funny and make an immediate connection to make the meal more memorable

Awesome steaks, best in Tomar. The asparagus side was just mind-blowing and I hate asparagus, Wonderful service. Personal attention from the owner. Tiny place so definitely book ahead as all the tables were reserved when we went which was a good sign.

10/10What a great experience from the time we walked in until we departed. Very attentive staff, excellent cold cider, dry aged ribeye steaks cooked to perfection with excellent sides and homemade deserts. The owner, Tiago, took time to explain the various cuts and preparation of the various dishes, They also had an English language menu and they spoke English as well. Do not pass this place if you desire one of the best steaks in and around Tomar.

7.5/10normally a great place to eat but prices have increased quite a bit but the service hasn't improved with it. Drinks forgotten, only one salad (and charged for!) Burger well undercooked and our table taken before we had packed up.

Excellent service by the owner, Diago who was very friendly!! Ordered the Mushroom appetizer, it was delicious. My ribeye was seasoned perfectly, but a bit sinewy. Hamburger would’ve been great if the bun wasn’t hard as a rock…they ran out of ciabatta and used some kind of ancient bread! It was a fun experience!

9/10We have been in Tomar several times and never noticed this little restaurant. We are so glad to have found it. The owner, Diogo, was there and personally delivered our steaks. He was attentive and ensured that we were happy with our meal. Our server was also very good and just the right amount of attentive. We had 2 hamburger platters and 2 Ribeye steaks. The steaks were excellent quality and prepared to our liking. The hamburgers were also excellent, 100% beef and delicious. We would highly recommend O custume to our friends, and, we will visit agian.

8/10Nice small restaurant with great meat options and homemade ice teas! I asked for medium rare on my rib eye, but it came a little bit too raw, same for my partner's. But it was taken care of by putting it back on the grill. Flavors are good and balanced, loved the potato puree with truffle and pink pepper, I definitely recommend this one! The millefeuille potatoes also very well done! Thank you, I hope to come back some time!
