The "Tasting Menu" is of very high quality. We enjoyed all the 5 courses and the wine pairing was excellent. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

Our experience was somewhat disappointing. The expectations were high with the Michelin 2025 award. Been to a few Michelin restaurants, but we didn’t see it here. Staff and service were very good. Location great. But the food was not as advertised. Bland and uninspiring. Bread great. Specialty Butter ok. Apps- wild mushroom very good, Lobster and dumplings very disappointing. Bland and underseasoned. Small portions. Grilled prawns ok. Grilled fish, ok but bland. Sweet potato puree was cold. Plating and plates aesthetics were not high end restaurant level. Seafood and shrimp cataplana was excellent. Only real exceptional dish presented at your table. So for the cost, the value was not there. Would not return here again.

Fabulous meal in a beautifully furnished restaurant. Cataplana and Mullet dishes were exceptional! Spectacular location if you can visit during daylight overlooking the beach.

This place is a gem. The food was absolutely perfect, everything was delicious. Some classics that they did just right (cataplana and lobster risotto) and some interesting presentations of unique ingredients (mushroom appetizer with crispies and cacao cookie for dessert). The wine list was extensive and we were happy with the one we chose. The servers were very attentive and friendly. I wish I spoke Portuguese but alas I do not and so I feel compelled to add that everyone spoke English and there were zero communication issues. The quality and quantity were well worth the price, very reasonable for a restaurant in the Michelin guide. Highly recommend.

The food was very good, but the service was atrocious. I was there for two hours and only got service because I literally got up and got someone. I was completely ignored for most of the two hours.

The starters: lobster and burrata, they were good Tuna main was nice, but husband could have easily eaten twice as much. I had sea bass with Cilento porridge and a clam cream, the fish was small and pleasant (I am a small eater) but porridge was badly proportioned relative to small piece of fish and over powered everything, the clam just disappeared. The service was poor, no one asked us how are main was, no one came to clear are plates. We adjourned to a smoking table before we chose sweets, only to find on our return, are table had been relayed for new customers, remaining wine and water removed. When we mentioned it we were almost accused of lying, there wasn’t much left, but still not the point. They gave us a glass of wine begrudgingly from a new bottle, but no apology. We paid and left, no sweet offered. Restaurant very busy and noisy. Definitely not a Michelin class restaurant, I can only assume the reviewers attended mid week in mid winter when perhaps it was quieter?

This is a big, boisterous beachfront restaurant in a busy area and is not the sort of restaurant you would expect to find particularly good food or service. However, the service was excellent. All the staff were both friendly and efficient. And the food was a revelation. Really delicious and with first-class presentation. If this review sounds suprised, it should do, we were totally suprised about just how good Restuarante F was as a culinary experience! Highly recommended.

It was night time so we sat looking onto the strip.....had the prawns..then the Portuguese Steak....both were good...

Food 10/10 ⭐️ The food, wine, and dessert were absolutely incredible – truly some of the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Dishes were full of flavor, beautifully presented, and arrived from the kitchen very quickly. The culinary side of this restaurant is outstanding and alone makes it worth visiting. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to the same level. It took nearly 30 minutes just to order drinks, and we also had to wait far too long for the bill. Our main courses even arrived before the main course wine, and dessert was served quicker than the dessert wine. At times it felt like we had been forgotten. I would gladly return for the food, but I hope the service improves to match the quality coming out of the kitchen.

We were greeted by the manager/owner Ricardo upon arrival, and I was very happy when they allowed me to open a special bottle of wine I had brought for the occasion. The restaurant is situated on the beach, and has a beautiful view of the surrounding bay. Even though it was busy, it the service was excellent and the delivery of our food to the table quick. The seafood they prepare is very well done, with a modern twist in the majority of the dishes. Fresh, interesting and very tasty. The restaurant has a in-house winecellar and their selection includes gems from all over Portugal, with Ricardo willing to give good advice on what he recommends to buy and explore. All things being equal, Restaurant F is worth the drive to Portimão!

Food and service are simply second to none. The Lobster risotto is a real standout dish. Waiter very knowledgeable with the extensive wine list.

The view is very nice. If you are coming with disabled people, please note that there are stairs to get into the restaurant. All the fish/seafood dishes were very good and tasty. The meat wasn’t that good. Too bad for such a piece. The fries came kind of cold. But were replaced. Staff was friendly but they are clearly understaffed. Everything took so long. The bread is certainly frozen. Too bad because the butter was amazing! Nice experience for the view, Nice experience for the seafood. For the rest… disappointing.

Excellent food, attentive service, and a perfect location right in front of the ocean. We were a group of 8, and the service for the whole table was outstanding. Everyone ordered something different, which gave us the chance to try a variety of dishes, and every option was delicious. A truly positive and memorable dining experience , highly recommended!

Really excellent food and wine options. Great service. Only down side was the food came very quickly and we wanted some time to enjoy the experience, but we asked they delay desert which they did. Certainly the best restaurant in this part of portimao. Would highly recommend.

We had six people eating and everyone’s said the food was great. The servers were nice but they were very slow and didn’t seem to care if we needed anything. We had to ask three times to get the check when we were finished and waited over 30 minutes sitting waiting to pay

The only thing this restaurant is good for is the view, and over 70% of the tables can't even fully enjoy said view. The food is good, but nothing special for the price. Service is garbage. 30 minutes we waited for desserts and the servers simply didn't come to our table. We left without getting any dessert because the service was just awful. There are much better alternatives with similar viwes in the area.

Trust Ricardo with your wine pairings! It truly made a world of difference and he was more than happy to sit and have a conversation on food and wine. His passion and love for what he does is apparent. The food celebrated the ingredients and it truly did not get fresher than the octopus! Would visit again ❤️

We came at 9 O’clock and the rush was over so we had a good table with attendees waiters. The food and drink were excellent and the ambience was perfect. Would go there again. It was surprising to see that good a restaurant amongst all the tourists shop/other restaurants. Perfekt view and a pleasant evening

+1A tasting menu of 5 courses, all “surprises” from the chef, including 1 amuse, 1 starter, 1 fish main course, 1 meat main course and 1 dessert, all with wine pairing! And really decent and good amount (4 oz, not 2 as many others would give) of wine you can actually enjoy. The price? Very affordable! Michelin guide did not make mistakes on this one.

We had the tasting menu with wine pairing which was perfectly delicious. Service was fast and nice. When you book a table may requests beach view, which will be the icing on the cake ;)
