We had a drink and one tapas in the taps bar part that was outstanding 5 star food service The restaurant was lacking atmosphere and the food not amazing It was reasonable value and the staff were great couldn’t have been better

Nice atmosphere and nice service

The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable but the food was amazing. We both had beef tenderloin which was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return.

Brooklyn was the perfect hostess. Advised us the best lamb in the world, tuna with great matching wines. Her smile, her engagement was really unique to experience.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner sitting at a nice outside table. Sipped a beautiful local wine all served by friendly knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend.

The food and service is good. Its a pity when you sit outside for dinner that shoppers are allowed to walk between the tables. I would recommend closing one entrance to make this less appealing.

Lovely restaurant, a cut above most as part of a top end hotel. Server was very chatty and friendly and the food lovely. Yes there’s cheaper but worth paying a bit more for quality. Went to rooftop bar after dinner which was lovely with a great view of the castle

Our wonderful waitress Mylene was amazing, so friendly. The food was incredible and prompt. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was terrific and the service very good. The reduced point was because we booked with a 20% discount via The Fork and only realised afterwards that we hadn't received this. Slightly annoying/disappointing but will still.return.

Very good and unique appetizers. Paella with shrimp and cuttlefish also very good, but a bit of green on top would have made it look more appetizing. White Verdejo good but lacked a little fruit, perhaps an old bottle. Almansa monastrell very good indeed.

This was not the first time we eat at this restaurant. As usual the food, the ambiance, the staff everything was great! For sure we'll be back again! It is one of the best restaurants in Alicante.

Felt the food was poor. The prawn carpaccio was covered in strange tasting crispy bits, which didn’t work. The fillet steak was chewy, despite being med rare. The service was great and friendly, but wouldn’t go back due to the food

Great setting, excellent food and very attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit. We dined there for my daughter’s 21st birthday. Everything was perfect.

We arrived 5 min early for our 7:30 reservation, only to find the main entrance closed. We saw staff inside, but nobody came to open the door; We left.

Beautiful restaurant. Lots of cool and classic charm. I think it’s part of a hotel but it looks super posh. We had the garlic prawns and the guineafowl Caesar salad to start. I think the guineafowl was the best I’ve ever tasted. We had the seafood paella for main. It was a bit salty but they brought out lemons and some mayonnaise to help quell the salt. We had a very nice bottle of rosé to wash it all down with, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Lovely service and a really lovely waitress that made the difference. I definitely recommend coming here as one of the finest restaurants in Alicante. Looking forward to going back our next visit to Spain

Not sure where to start with this one. This was the worst octopus I've had in my life. It was severely undercooked and bland. The sea bass my partner had was also not seasoned at all and the sauce wasn't complimenting the fish in any way. The waiters were fake and condescending. The only good thing was the port wine we ordered. Oh, and the interior was nice too. So to sum up, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless you really want to hate yourself. You deserve better in such a beautiful city.

4th visit. Extremely good wines, from 1996 Fondiææon to whites and younger reds. Food very original. Some extremely tasty, some only close to perfection. You simply have to try food you cannot make at home.

The food here is very good, far better than most of the places in Alicante and dining al fresco in the courtyard area is truly lovely. On this visit we had a seafood paella and wine, both of which were very delicious.

Food is nice, however most portions are 'homeopathic' (i.e. quite small) in size. The waiter although friendly seemed distraught. The restaurant belongs to a hotel, thus the seating was outside, in a sort of passage way - not really our favourite. With some portion resizing (on the most generous side), this could be a good option, however on the unjustified expensive side.
