Good food, very attentive service

Very local cuisine, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff… Delicious fish courses, we’ve been there as family, kids also enjoyed the dinner. Definitely worth a visit…

We ate here on a Saturday night and our waiter was Mario . He was super nice and very professional. The atmosphere was great as well. Food was very nice. My only small complaint would be that we got the seafood platter ( cooked), for two, and the quantity was amazing. However the lobster and shrimp were just a tad too cooked which made them not so tender. But still great flavor.

Delicious food. Super service. Charming atmosphere. But for those who want a longer comment, here it is: I was looking for an above-average local restaurant on TheFork to enjoy one of my last days in the area. It was a random choice, but a very good one. Besides being a historical building and a historical restaurant, the staff here also had history—fantastic old-school service and, most importantly, the food. Oysters, fish soup, turbot. Really, truly good. (I've never written such a long review before)

The sea bass in salt, the service is excellent and very personal, serviced by skilled and nice people. The 40+ years old port has a taste from heaven. To be short; an outstanding restaurant.

Luzmar was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in Cascais. He said it is some of the best food in town and he was right. Service was great, food was excellent and wine was very good. Highly recommend it.

The service was friendly and excellent. The food was good and plentiful. Maybe a touch overpriced for Portugal, but it's in a good location and the everything else about our visit was superb.

We love the amêijoas marinheiras for a change of pace! Always friendly and fun servers!!

Lovely location and nice atmosphere in the restaurant and great for people watching if you’re sat by the front. Very generous food size portions. Really nice people and clams were delicious. Less starter options than other places we tried.

If you visit cascais, you must come here to eat. You don't often find a restaurant with such excellent service and food. Top quality. A real gem. We will return time and time again.

The employees were all extremely helpful and kind, they also “personalized” for me my plate and offered me a beautiful white rose at the end of the dinner. I had a vegetable soup and a grilled half dorada, which were excellent. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the dessert, which was too sweet for me (but I guess it’s just my taste). The restaurant was tidy and very clean, not “touristic” at all. I will come back!

Great food and nice typical environment. Very good cata plana. Only negative point was the ham and crab paste brought to the table at the start which was 30€ in addition to the cover charge and not explained. But food , wine and service was top level
