We had a lovely lunch at Mouchâo Our table looked over the river, very beautiful location. food was very tasty, wine was good. for price quality it was exceptional.

We received a recommendation from the hotel we stayed at. The restaurant was empty, apart from one couple who were nearing the end of their meal. A bit surprising and worrying. The menu is nice, the dishes we ordered were tasty, and the recommendation we received was good. Indeed, a nice, clean, and tidy place."

- waiter was inattentive and rushed our group to order and make decisions - wild boar appetizer was dry and over cooked - the bread wafers with the burrata were stale and hard - both my beef meal and my fathers pork meal were dry and over cooked

Lovely setting next to the river. The dining room is nicely laid out.. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were efficient, friendly and professional. Will definitely return

Our server was wonderful. He was professional, yet friendly and very attentive. My husband had the slow roasted pork and I enjoyed a huge piece of tender roasted lamb shank.

The food was delious got to say compliments to the Chef. Service was spot on. A very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Would recomend to all. At least try it. It was my Birthday today and they made me feel really special. Thank you to all.

Lovely restaurant with a modern take of Portuguese food. Robalo was a stand out, steak superb..Bacalhau was a bit dry, despite having been cooked sou vide. Ambience lovely...especially if you sit on the river side.

Riverside restaurant set inside a hotel. We spent a long time trying to find the restaurant as we did not realise it was inside the Estalagem Santa Iria hotel but it was worth the effort. Sat at a table overlooking the river. Friendly and professional service which coped well with a food intolerance. Two generous fish main courses and the house speciality dessert were all enjoyed.

This new hotel/restaurant is a hidden gem in Tomar, literally. It's on an island in the river with a less than obvious entrance across what looks like a pedestrian bridge. We had lunch there watching ducks and fish frolic in the river from a well appointed dining room. The food was plated impeccably and represented creative twists on traditional Portuguese dishes. We also had an amazing bottle of wine with our meal - local of course! A perfect way to recharge after visiting the Convent de Cristo.

The food and service was good. We love sitting by the river and having our dinner. I do recommend any visit to go there. Note: book it before.

it was a Mexican buffet evening. Good fun. Great service. Food very tasty, just lacked chilli for Mexican food. But that may be personal taste! Good cocktails too 👌

An excellent restaurant on an island in the town of quaint buildings and a river. The drinks were great. The food was great. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended

Great place in central Tomar. Set in a park along the river. Beautiful setting with great food and excellent service. At a reasonable price. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Outbursts of unbearably loud shouting and laughter from a party but we moved to the sunroom area and they kindly closed off most of the noise. The food was good but not outstanding. Too salty for our tastes. A delicious tomato gateu dessert.

The food was as too salty and overcooked. We had the sea bass and the pork. Worst food we had in Portugal. The waitress was very nice and very overworked,
