7/10We were a group of 8 adults, the restaurant is in the old section of Portugal right by the beach, the area is lively and fun. Our table was waiting for us when we arrived. The drinks and service were good. We ordered pizza as appetizers which was also good. A few of us pasta dishes as our entree which were mediocre at best.

7/10Been to resturant a few times now this visit was a bit disappointing. New menu on a good point the sides now included in mains and few new dishes added. On a bad point the prices are a bit steep and a number of favourites have been removed . We ordered a salad to share for starter this was very good . My partner ordered Ricco burger with chips it was ok. I had lasagne it was a child's portion and parts were burnt, to be blunt it was the worst I've ever had. I told our sever she said they could do another but I declined as I wasn't gonna wait as the restaurant was busy. with fork discount and happy hour drinks it was ok. Not sure if we would return but if we do will never order lasagne.

8/10The quality of the food was very high, but the portions were very small. I had a delicious piece of salmon, but I’m glad I ordered a side salad, as it came with just a small dollop of mashed potatoes and a bit of honey sauce. We still left feeling hungry.

5.5/10Service was awful wrong drinks brought followed by completely incorrect mains therefore half of us eating whilst the others waited.And finally finished with the bill being incorrect and containing food we did not even recieve even though ordered.

9/10The food was very good and the ambience is nice. The service was great till we got to the deserts when the server came back 20 minutes later and informed the desert will arrive in 5 minutes and then 10 minutes later, she informed that it would take 40 minutes more. Then, finally when we got upset, the manager came back and apologized and informed the desert would arrive in 5 minutes and it did. All the food was great, so that offset the damage due to the delay and misinformation.

Do not get sucked in by the ambiance. The food was terrible and the service lackluster. We were in Portugal for 9 days and this was our worst meal. Gnocci had no flavor Pizza was vey strange with a large piece of salami on each piece that was very difficult to bite thru Worst was clams bulhao pato- 5 of the smallest clams I have ever seen one had no clam in it and waiter was no where to be found. Very small menu and several key dishes were not available. Lasagna only available for kids, can’t you give a larger piece for another price to adults. I can’t stress enough don’t bother going here Don’t waste your money.

4/10Service was really nice but it took 20 minutes to get the bills, ambiance was ok but the food was simply not good. The shrimp pasta was really not great and plane. I hate to leave a bad review but it was really not a great spot.

10/10My husband, daughter and I had a fantastic experience in Restaurante Rico 2 nights ago. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing!! The service was exceptional and the staff were friendly and very professional. An added bonus was a fantastic singer with accoustic guitar which created a lovely chilled environment. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
