I love this cozy restaurant so much. Huge fan of the massinha garoupa and the migas. You really can’t go wrong though. Everything is made with care and the service feels so warm and personal.

A cosy neighbourhood restaurant with white table clothes and friendly service. The menu has stayed almost the same for years but there's no reason to change it, it is perfect as such. The dishes are well made, delicious and look beautiful. A very good value for money.

Wonderful and intimate space. We were greeted warmly by a small staff. Once seated, our server was warm and before we knew it, it was like family. We absolutely enjoyed the staff home made first bits. All jared up. Tasty marinaded beans, olives and sheep cheese in vinegar and parsley brines…wow. Enjoying along with a bottle of verde vino. Our appetizers were a red pepper, gazpacho and scrambled eggs with chorizo chicken. Both were delicious. Followed by an amazing duck in a port reduction sauce that my wife ordered and I enjoyed the steak Trivial style. We agreed that we would go back!

The food and service at this authentic spot are top notch. Try the bife com molho trivial. The creamy mushroom and peppercorn sauce is so good!!

This was a very nice experience. We were a party of 2 who came for dinner on a Thuesday. The restautrant has a nice decoration, with calm and low volume ambient music, and a TV screen in mute. The restaurant was half full including a party of 6 american tourists who, like everyone else, did not talk loud. Marvellous. So if you add to this the fact that we were sitting in comfortable chairs and served in comfortable tables with cloth napkins and tablecloth, then all that is missing for the experience to be perfect is good food & drinks. We tried the "Robalo à Bulhão-Pato" and the "Magret fr Pato com vinho do Porto" and they were both excellent. Wine price was very reasonable and the dessert "Pudim Abade de Priscos" was perfect. We do not love Nespresso, but... what to say ? We'll be back.

Very friendly staff and great food, we were taken care of from beginning and had a good time. I recommend in particular codfish cakes and creme brulee but every dish we had was worth it.

Very cosy environment; although the tables are not very distant one from another it remains relatively quiet, Extensive choice of dishes and wines, all very reasonably priced. You will find traditional Portuguese dishes, some with a more modern twist, all excellent. Service was apparently down one person during our visit but the lady managed it efficiently, Top price-quality ratio.

We always enjoy the service, the welcome by Cristina, and the food is consistently good. Although the prices have increased a little bit, it’s still a very good value for your money.

Our experience at Trivial was fantastic. Everything from booking the reservation, to being greeted at the door, to the excellent service (including helping us pick a perfect wine to go with our meal), to the spectacular food, to our farewell at the end of the meal was delivered with attention and care. I'd go back in a heartbeat, and I highly recommend Trivial for both special occasions and just an everyday family meal.

Excellent service excellent selection on the menu great wine list. This restaurant was perfect for our group of six people. Everything tasted so good. Everybody was very happy with their meal. I highly recommend this place.

This is an amazing Portuguese restaurant, in a lovely neighborhood, and an elegant ambience. They have very consistently tasty food, especially the Steak Trivial, but everything is delicious and high quality. Be sure to book ahead, as Cristina fills up the restaurant every night. Very reasonably priced for an elegant restaurant, too. You won't be disappointed!
